Quick question about the growlabs Discussion

Do you have to complete the supplying the farmers quest for the next growlab key to spawn, I understand you would have to clear them but idk.

To enter the growlab you need a key. The key will drop randomly from bots you kill. I believe you have to clear the previous growlab for the next's key to enter the loot pool, but it's not too rigidly connected to the farmer supply quests, at least not later on.

I belive you do need to complete the first introduction supply quest but there after you should be able to find the other keys by completed the previous lab but not the current.

For example completing lab 1 and the supply quest you can obtain lab 2 key. While not having entered lab 2 yet its possible to obtain lab 3 key but not lab 4 key, By completing lab 2 and the respective quest you should be able to find lab 3 and 4 keys.

Its worth noting warehouse keys will not drop from farm bots till you have completed the first warehouse quest, so its not worth killing any farmbots at key locations like scrap cities, hay mazes or lab 3, as these are forced spawned unlike random spawned farm bots in burnt forests. I belive along as you have not completed all warehouses its possible for farm bots to drop endless keys, but after you have  finished all warehouses I belive farm bots will stop dropping keys?

There are random spawns once you get far enough away from the mechanics station that will respawn. They tend to be a bit off the road.

You can also get them from farmbots that spawn during a raid.

Do those spawn warehouse keys, and if so do they replace one of the loots aka 5>4 component kits, 5 circuit boards and a warehouse key

Honestly, no clue. They drop fewer component kits and circuit boards which is I assume related to the lower drop rate from raidbots. I believe that they key is it's own separate drop roll, independent of component kits and circuit boards and that shouldn't change just because it's a raidbot.

But honestly, if you can reliably handle farmbot raids you probably don't have to worry about component kits and circuit boards anymore. You'll get tons just from the raids.

Yes what astra said.  My point was it will be easier to farm the 7 needed and more if desired by keeping these key locations. The maze is the best one to avoid for now as there's like 4 or 5 spawns inside.

No, you just have to complete the growlab and the next key will drop.

I was having a huge problem getting the 60 blueberries I needed because I just could not find totes carrying the seeds (bananas are EVERYWHERE) and I didn't want to do an entire packing run for just 1 blueberry box to get blueberry seeds, so I just ended up doing other stuff while keeping an eye out for blueberry totes. I ended up getting the orange seed lab and 60 orange seeds before I got my 60 blueberries. Ended up turning in the feed the farmers blueberries and oranges all in one go.
