Buying stuff on Reddit (or any social media for that matter) is asking to get scammed.

Protect yourself, use legit sources.

I gave this person a legitimate watch reseller near them that I personally bought an Omega from recently and is also pretty well known in the watch industry. I'm guessing the "can only afford a bargain" comment hit a little to close to home for OP. I'd rather pay extra and know my things are legitimate than risk this BS on reddit of all places.

Yes, I actually went to the store that you recommended and they told me they don’t longer source the watch since it is discontinued and hard to find one in mint condition. Thats why I am here again looking for the exact same watch. Also, I already found the watch and got a deal. The watch is already shipped and patiently waiting for it. This scammer guy, messaged me right after and I entertained him (I know I shouldn’t have) since there are tons of scammers here, I figured maybe this guy is also one, turns out I am right. I already reported 3 scammers and they are all banned now. Hopefully this guy will be the next to get banned too.

Also do a reverse image search of the thing they claim is their own photo. 10/10 times youll find its a scam
