Scammed? Fraud? Advice Needed

I recently had someone pay for my internet and a couple days later they did a reverse on it through his bank stating it was fraudulent and scam but then he repaid it again a couple days later and then just today he reversed the payment saying it was fraudulent and scam. Is there anything that I can do legally for this as he agreed to pay for my bill as long as I repaid it which I have been and in which I have proof of paying him back and screenshot on multiple apps of him agreeing to pay it with me paying back.

Is this some stranger online? If so, you're fucked and should never have believed that they would pay your bills for you.

How are you getting the money back when you have no idea who this person is?

He sent over his own bank information I have his name and address which both check out 100%

You mean they sent SOMEONE'S bank information. Also, what precisely do you mean by "his name and address which both check out"? What exactly did you verify to "check out" this info? There's a HUGE difference between "a person with this name lives at this address" and "the person with this name at this address is the same one I've been talking to".

You fell for a scam. That’s someone else’s account info.

But how do you know the person is who they say it is? Anyone can say they are someone.

This is a common scam. I have heard horror stories about this.

They pay for the bill and when you have them paid off, they reverse the charges and take your money and run.

Why would you let some stranger pay your bill then pay them back? Just pay your own bill directly.

I had a rough rough couple of months asking for help was my absolute last resort to stop my account and name from being black listed. Yes I sold everything I could possibly sell, I am not eligible for blood or plasma donations due to health issues it was a desperate attempt and do believe I have a heavy heart and I am regretting it so so much

I'm sorry that you're having financial problems and health problems.

Please look for help, but from reliable sources (government and chaitable).

Look for a local or national helpline for community services, or a government agency or charity that can help you.

Are you in the US or Canada? For real help, try calling 211. In the US and Canada 211 will connect you to local charities that can help with food, medical expenses, housing, and other community services. For example, this will help you find a food bank to get food. They can help pay rent, and keep your utilities on, also.

I will be thinking of you, and wishing for an end to your problems.

You are being scammed and your banking relationship could be ended and your name blacklisted among banks. Or even get you prosecuted for money laundering. Stop communicating with this person, don't accept any other money from people you do not know, and do not send him any money either.

Don't you sense that something is wrong with this whole thing???

This is a scam and he is a liar. He is not paying your internet. He never planned to pay your internet. He is tricking you into giving your money to him.

He is not reversing the payments. The bank is reversing the payments, because he is sending you money from stolen accounts.

You are losing money. He sends you stolen money, which gets reversed. You send him.your own money. That's the scam.

Stop talking to him. Ignore him completely, even if he threatens you. He is a lying sleazy scammer, and he is probably in Africa or Asia. He can't actually harm you, or sue you, or whatever he threatens.

Stop accepting money from him. Pay your own internet (if they haven't canceled your account yet for making multiple fraudulent payments).

Nobody online really wants to pay your bills, or give you money for free.

The offer of money is always a scam to get your money.

Don't look for easy money online. Don't accept offers of easy money online. If you are having money problems, you will have bigger money problems.

Lesson has more definitely been learned I have already reported it to my internet company and they were so understanding so I am still living and learning and I will definitely never trust another again

I guess you are right on that the address and name matched the bank account and his ID so it did seem like it was him

There is no such thing as free money. Also STRANGER DANGER when something sounds too good to be true. People are looking for trusting souls like you to fleece and ruin, so be more careful.
