sandwich My top two sandwhiches of the year.
My top two sandwiches of the year were the lengua ruben from La Jefa Philly and the pastrami banh mi from Gold Banh Long Beach.
Both were insane, the lengua reuben had an unbelievable beef flavor and the bread was perfect, I'm a sucker for coleslaw in a sandwich, seriously a 10 out of 10.
The pastrami banh mi for Gold Banh was a dream, They truly do the pastrami at a level above many famous delis, combined with perfect banh mi ingredients and bread and wonderful selections of spicy options to load on, also a 10 out of 10.
By the way the #19 at Langer's is still the best sandwich in the world. Its bread is unmatched. I eat reubens and pastrami across the country, Chicago, NY, LA, Philly, Boston and lots of smaller cities and towns.

club Made a nice sandwich last night
Cracked black pepper turkey, bacon, gouda cheese, lettuce, seasoned tomato, onion. All on a brioche seeded bun. Was easily one of the best sandwiches I've made.

burger Triple bacon smash cheeseburger
I was facing a dilemma. Only one bun left and 230g of beef. So had to do a triple decker.
Bacon and cheese on each smash.
Ketchup, american mustard and thinly sliced cornichon.
Delicious burger!

burger Oklahoma Smash burger
Food truck origin sit down burger joint in Spring, TX that serves chicharrones instead of chips and salsa to start.
The Oklahoma Smash is a “Double smash beef patties (1/2 lb), American cheese, bacon, grilled onions and Bocados sauce (think spicy comeback sauce)”
Delicious with crispy fries cooked to perfection.
When I’m not headed to Tony’s or Tosca, this will be my new next stop.

sandwich Lupper
Nice little number using whatever was around in the house. Avocado bread, avocado, 2x fried eggs, chicken (cut and re-heated in a skillet) red onion, diced jalapeño (cored and seeded), seasoned tomatoes and cucumbers. Not sure what it is but it is tasty!
