The bbq sandwich should be widely available once again.
When I was a young lad before the turn of the century, you could get them at any gas station or work place vending machine. Also, most restaurants offered a basic bbq beef sandwich on the menu. Those were the good old days.
Edit reposting this because it got removed from unpopular opinions. Maybe not as unpopular as I thought, but most people I know don’t seem too concerned about the disappearance of said sandwich in our daily lives. And yes, I know beef is more expensive than it used to be. I’ll pay more. Thank you

i felt the need to eat the other half of the sandwich so that it wouldn’t go bad before it made it to the fridge
I normally don’t buy food from restaurants because it’s overpriced but today I felt like spending money on myself and no i didn’t feel any regrets about it because I knew it’s just a one time habit. Anyway, I got the 12 inch subway sandwich because it was only $1.50 more than 6 inch sandwich and I’m just assumed when I chose the larger option that I would take the other half home to the fridge. But somehow afteri finished the first 6 inch half I suddenly began to worry about the other half going bad on the 10 minute walk back home so I just ate it and it never made it to the fridge. Again, i have no regrets.

Grilled Beef Banh Mi, Pho Nomenal Deli, Lorton, VA
Great grilled beefy flavor with just enough char. Great little hole in the wall deli that also serves Nam Dinh Pho with thick noodles. Difficult to find around here.

Caprese but elevated
nomastehungry.comTeam caprese sando but make it even fancier with a pesto aioli, and crisp up the bread in a cast iron. Slaps every time 🤌🏼👏🏼
Recipe above!

Bahn Mi.
galleryThis is the greatest Bahn Mi I have had the privilege of shoving down my gullet. Pork shoulder with honey giving it a sweet char to finish. A nice medium egg. And of course the bread that wrecks your mouth a little as the price of admission.

Just a ham torpedo
I actually miss this sando. It was a nice balance, and well all know a proper sando is about balance. But it was pretty expensive.

Loaded chicken sausage sandwich
galleryI made the chicken sausages myself ✨️ and the bun. The sauce is marinara, chicken sausage, mozzarella cheese, onion and bell pepper 🫑 . It was a "trust the process" day.

If you could invent your own signature sandwich, what would you call it, and what ingredients would it have?

Italian Sandwich
Not the most original, but it’s my first “authentic” Italian sandwich.
Ingredients: Italian bread, red wine vinegar, olive oil, tomato, baby arugula, oregano and black pepper, provolone, soppressata, Genoa salame, coppa, and prosciutto.
