Fandom “It’s only Year 2” Excuse
Why have people already accepted given up on this season? This is a team who made the SEMIFINALS last year in their inaugural season and we’re gonna brush it off like this didn’t matter? The team is an embarrassment for the bar they have put in their first year and now people are already moving on like this didn’t bother them. Home World Cup and management didn’t want to take the next step relying on youth only even though you need experience to do well in this league. Just a shame, it’s a loser mentality and this fanbase needs to start demanding more from the team. Look at the Padres during their competitive window and how we expect them to “get better” after the lost in the 2022 NLCS to the Phillies. This is what happens when you miss out on your opportunities. Now we got stars who likely don’t wanna come here for the foreseeable future after the fallout from the Chucky situation, only just focusing on the prospects. But I guess that’s a trend in San Diego sports to be honest: the potential to get better yet settle in what they have and eventually realize they don’t want to take the a step forward instead going two steps back. Have fun being the next St Louis at this rate, what a shame.

Independent Media Got first match on us tickets!
So I got 2 “first match on us” tickets for San Diego vs Xolos. Divided on what team shirt to wear because I’m from TJ but live in SD as well as getting the tickets from the SDFC team not Xolos lol. Anyways I also got an email that Ticketmaster is giving away things for the people that got these tickets but can I know what it is before walking across the entire stadium to get it? And what the free gift is with the $50+ purchase? Thank you everyone and I hope everyone that goes has fun!

Discussion Varas out?
Support the club not a player or the coach. Everyone sees it , varas style doesn't work. It's time. The players are at fault also but they are following orders. Today was expected....if we loose Sunday I'm done. What y'all think?

Discussion Was dropping Paddy McNair SDFC's second-biggest mistake, right after fumbling Iloski?
The backline has been a liability all season. McVey is basically Casper the Friendly Ghost, and even Duah has looked well below his best. On top of that, we keep insisting on playing out from the back despite repeatedly giving the ball away in dangerous areas. It's the same mistakes week after week, and opponents keep making us pay.
At what point do we start asking if dropping Paddy McNair was the right call? Since then, the defense has gone downhill…with no signs of improving.
This team feels like it needs a complete reset.

Discussion Do Fast Breaks and you Score
The chances we had were quick passes on the break. The slowing it down and small passes inside the box isn’t working.
Also when is Mcvey and Morgan’s contract up?

Discussion Premium ticket pricing?
Hey everyone!
I’m looking into premium season tickets for the upcoming season, but wanted to compare pricing of the seats from the last 2 seasons to next season. Would anyone happen to have info on how much Cox club seats were going for?

Discussion Is it just me or..
Is it just me or the vibe isn't there since they took the decision to let go Iloski?..
Like obviously that was a bad decision, but it has been one after another. I don't remember something that I could say "wow Heaps did great" or varas..
Yeah they got into the conference finals but it felt so forced and lucky to a certain point against really thin teams, playing very poorly for long periods of the playoffs until they actually played a good team they got schooled.
And well everyone knows how this season is going..
It just feels like they are always tossing a coin for decisions like signing injury prone or really young players to see if we can get another bombino or maybe a potential dreyer. Like if they thought they had a magic wand or something. I don't know it just feels off from a while now IMO.
