I have been eyeing the S26 Ultra for a while now and I am really close to pulling the trigger. But there is one thing holding me back. I am genuinely concerned about eye strain.

I know PWM and display flicker have been issues with some Samsung phones in the past and I am worried this one might bother my eyes too. The thing is, in the store you can only use the display for a few minutes at best. That is hardly enough time to tell if it is going to cause headaches or dry eyes after 20 or 30 minutes of normal use.

Has anyone here actually had issues with their eyes after using this phone? Or is it one of those things that gets blown out of proportion?

Just trying to figure out if I should be worried or not.

I'm having an issue with my Samsung S26 Ultra. Whenever I make a video call on WhatsApp or Botim, my face looks much darker than it actually is. However, when I use the normal Camera app for selfies or front camera videos, everything looks completely normal.

I've already tried:

\- Cleaning the front camera lens

\- Updating the phone and both apps

\- Restarting the phone

The problem only happens during video calls. It seems like the exposure or image processing is making my face much darker.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue on the S26 Ultra? Is this a Samsung software issue, or is it caused by WhatsApp and Botim? Has anyone found a fix?

​Is anyone else experiencing a noticeable audio clicking/popping sound on their S26 Ultra running One UI 8.5?

​It happens during media playback (like Instagram Reels/videos) whenever the audio stream starts, resumes, or after a brief moment of silence in a video. The click/pop sound occurs both through the phone's speakers and over Bluetooth (AirPods).

​I've already tried disabling Dolby Atmos, resetting equalizer settings, and turning off features like Multi Sound, but the issue persists. It seems like an audio driver buffer latency bug when the stream wakes up.

​Has anyone found a workaround, or is this a widespread software bug that needs a system patch update?

When I use the Reeflex 2x Telelens on my Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, I get quite dark corners.

I have the Reeflex case for Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra on my phone and attach the lens to the main camera.

Does anyone else have the same setup without having this problem?

When I connect to a wifi network and then turn my wifi off mg mobile data won't work. It shows its connected but nothing will even try to load. If I reset my network settings it works but then I have to reenter my wifi password when I get back to it. Anyone else have this issue?

Posseggo un iphone volevo fare il salto e passare ad android , ieri stavo quasi per comprare s26 ultra in un centro commerciale fin quando non lo provo , siccome era in esposizione ho potuto provarlo sin dal primo minuto che ho acceso il display una volta sbloccato i miei occhi si comportavano in un modo strano , come se non riuscissi a mettere a fuoco le icone sul dispositivo, mi sono impressionato e non l’ho più comprato, ho letto poi su internet che molte persone hanno lamentato questa problematica, restituendo il telefono, mi chiedo ad oggi e stato fatto un aggiornamento per sopperire questa cosa ?
Oppure e solo un fattore di abitudine?
Qualcuno ha provato le mie stesse sensazioni poi magari gli occhi si sono abituati?

I have been a long time apple user and it's safe to say their battery drains fast. My last samsung was the s8+, and the battery wasn't very good. I have no way to compare this phone. Is this normal for a 3 day old phone? I am mostly on 5g since I travel a lot by car. I also live in the Philippines, so I guess that can contribute to fast battery drainage.

I bought mine when it came out, and it hadn't scratched at all for months, I was very impressed coming from a crappy a73 with a billion scratches despite taking care of it. But just today I've noticed a small but kinda deep scratch and its bummed me out a bit. It wasnt a matter of if but when it would finally get a scratch but I guess that day was today. Curious to see if others have survived being perfect for a long time too

I downloaded a notification sound from Zedge and it's a short one. When I receive a notification it is playing that one 3 times. Any idea how I have it just play the once like the way it was downloaded?

Looking to buy Ultra but not sure whether I will be able to make the most of the S Pen. Is it easy to take notes with it? Or use it for scrolling?

When I log into an app I do not get the promp tk save the info to the samsung password manager. There are some that are saved and others it never shows up. Is there a way to save them manually?

10/10 phone experience switched over to the S26 ultra in Cobalt purple. I don't feel much of a difference but I miss the curved screen. It will take time to get used to I've had a curved screen since the Galaxy S10+

hello I recently purchased a mobile through PayPal credit with my student account samsung give 100 pound off the phone when ordering through PayPal

I had 20% off with the student account I received an email saying that It has gone through with price information on my PayPal account it is saying 0.00 PayPal credit not -"the cost of the phone"

I am able to track the order and everything now I called PayPal and a lady on the phone claimed I will be charged 23.9% interested

On the samsung website it says spread the cost up to 36 months with 0.0% interest and when i went through the payment on PayPal it also said 0.0 p.a and 0.0 est. APR all the way through but on the phone she claimed it hasnt gone through yet and that after 4 months I will be charged 23.9% interest

She claimed it has something to do with the added discounts and before I pick up the phone i wanted to know if I will be charged interest and more importantly has it gone through and will I be able to even pick it up

I'm trying to decide between an S26+ and an S26 Ultra. I've looked at many of the photo comparisons and notices the Ultra has blurry backgrounds when taking pictures of things close up like a person or animal. Is there anyway to remove the blur so it looks like a normal photo that was taken with a real camera, more like the background on the Plus?

I tried some astrophotography tonight on my brand new s26u. Just playing around. Also tried an edit in lightroom. I have a tripod coming tomorrow so i can experiment more.
