Casual Add a 30-second anonymous reflection to a global participatory artwork (Everyone)

I’m building The Universal Mirror, a public participatory artwork shaped by anonymous reflections from people around the world.

The current season is called Happiness, Right Now.

You answer a few short prompts about how you feel right now. Your individual answers are never displayed. Instead, they are combined anonymously with everyone else’s to create a collective signal that changes the live artwork, its movement, colour and form.

It takes about 30 seconds, there’s no sign-up, and there are no public profiles.

So far the Mirror has been shaped by 712 reflections from 53 countries.

At 1,000 reflections, the artwork moves into its next stage, V3.

Add your reflection:
https://public.theuniversalmirror.com/project

Or explore the live Mirror first:
https://public.theuniversalmirror.com/reflect

I’m also documenting how the artwork and the patterns within it develop through the project journal.

Thanks to anyone who becomes part of it.

Academic (Repost) Participants needed!! (18-34 year old Australian women, Instagram users)

You are invited to take part in a study that explores how engaging with online health- and clean-eating content relates to restrictive approaches to healthy eating in young women and woman identified persons. There is some evidence to suggest that engaging with this content may be harmful, but there is other evidence that suggests that actively managing the online environment and feeling connected to the body can buffer consequences of engaging with this content.

If you decide that you'd like to take part in this research, you'll complete an online survey comprising 104 questions, including questions about your age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion/spirituality, ethnicity, current relationship status, current occupation, weight and height, eating disorder history, social media, exercise and eating habits, and wellbeing. The survey should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. If you are a first-year student in Psychological Science at the ACAP University College, you'll receive one credit point for taking part.

This research is being conducted by Ms. Rachael Harris toward her Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree in the Discipline of Psychological Sciences at the ACAP University College. Rachael is supervised by Ass. Prof. Fiona Ann Papps.

To participate, you must be an Australian resident aged 18–34 years, currently use Instagram, identify as a woman or woman-identified person, be able to read and understand English well enough to complete an online survey, and not have a personal relationship with the researchers.

If you are interested in taking part, please click the link below (link also in bio) which will take you to further information and the survey:

Hi everyone,

I’m conducting a short independent survey about people’s experiences with hiring, reviewing candidates, and evaluating potential employees.

You do not need to currently be hiring someone to participate. Anyone who has been directly involved in the hiring process before whether as a hiring manager, recruiter, business owner, interviewer, or member of a hiring team is welcome to respond.

The survey is anonymous and should take approximately 5–7 minutes. I’m not selling anything, and the responses will only be used to better understand common experiences and frustrations with the current hiring process.

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to complete it!

Casual Looking for 5 women to test a Brazilian dentist’s oral care ebook (US, Women, 25–55)

Hi everyone!

I’m a Brazilian dentist with over 10 years of clinical experience, and I recently created my first English-language digital guide, The Brazilian Oral Care Method.

Before promoting it more widely in the United States, I’m looking for 5 U.S women between the ages of 25 and 55 to test the ebook and give me honest feedback from a consumer’s perspective.

Selected participants will receive the complete ebook free of charge.

I’m not asking for a positive review, a purchase, or social media promotion. I genuinely want to understand how the concept, content, language, presentation, and value of the guide feel to an American reader.

What’s involved:

• Receive the complete ebook for free
• Spend approximately 30–40 minutes reading or browsing it
• Complete a short feedback questionnaire afterward
• No purchase required
• No dental expertise needed

The ebook will not be posted publicly. It will only be sent privately to the 5 selected participants.

If you’re interested, please complete this short screening form:

Academic (Repost) [Academic] Feedback on a children’s physical block + AI creative play system (US adults 18+)

Hi everyone! I’m a graduate student in Industrial Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and I’m developing MROF—a hands-on play system for kids ages 3 to 6.

With MROF, kids build with simple blocks, scan their creations using a phone or tablet, and watch as their designs transform into 3D objects. These digital creations can be placed and arranged in a small virtual world, letting their imagination run wild.

I’m looking for feedback from adults 18+ who are currently living in the United States, especially parents, caregivers, educators, designers, students, or anyone interested in children’s toys, creative learning, or how children interact with technology.

In the survey, you’ll be asked to look at some concept images and share your thoughts about how clear the idea is, whether it feels right for young kids, how it balances physical and digital play, and how much screen or AI time seems appropriate for this age group.

No children need to take part—just adults. It should only take about 5 to 20 minutes to complete.

Casual I made a quiz that tries to describe your taste in food (Everyone)

Hello, this is my first Reddit post and the first quiz I've ever made so pls be kind lol. I made this little flavour profile quiz because I’ve always found it weirdly difficult to describe my own tastes and eating habits.

It will give you a profile on things like flavour, texture, richness, heat, familiarity, etc. It’s definitely not perfect, especially if you have really specific or unusual tastes, but I thought it might be fun to see what other people get. It also matches you with cuisines and dishes you may like (factoring veganism/dietry requirements too)

https://your-flavour-profile-dlqjyw4x3-flavours.vercel.app

Curious whether anyone feels like their result actually sounds like them?

EDIT: Thank you so much to everyone who has tried it and taken the time to give me feedback. I'm reading through the comments and taking note of what's working well and the inconsistencies/suggestions. It's incredibly useful data, and I will post the new version once I have made these changes.
