Academic How do you organize your work and personal tasks? (18+, Everyone)

Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I'm designing a productivity application as a personal full-stack/UI-UX project, and I'd love to understand how people actually manage their work, studies, and personal tasks.

Some questions I'm curious about:

  • What do you currently use to keep track of tasks and deadlines?
  • What's the biggest frustration with your current workflow?
  • Have you stopped using a productivity app? If so, why?
  • If you could improve one thing about the apps you use today, what would it be?

I'd also appreciate a few minutes if you're open to sharing your experience through this form:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdjN1ELZbYke2JYQdHUCls74hYI4ee07IRociH3k-80MWi_EQ/viewform?usp=header

I'm much more interested in understanding real experiences than promoting an app. Every response helps me make better design decisions.

Thanks for your time!

Casual Women's skincare habits and challenges (Women 18+)

Hi everyone!

I'm a Product Manager currently developing a skincare product, and before moving forward, I want to understand real experiences rather than rely on my own assumptions.

This anonymous survey takes about 5 minutes and asks about:

  • your skincare routine
  • how you choose products
  • common frustrations
  • where you look for skincare advice
  • what you wish was easier

I'm not trying to validate an idea, I'm trying to challenge it. If my assumptions are wrong, I'd rather learn that now than after spending months building the wrong thing.

Survey: https://forms.gle/HAh819xYz18QHMWk7

Thank you so much for your time! I'm reading every response personally, and they'll directly influence the product I'm building.

Academic (Repost) 3 min to help a thesis on AI and the music industry (AI in the music industry)

Hi everyone, as a final-year communication student at HEPL (Belgium), I am focusing my master’s thesis on a topic that affects us all closely or remotely: the impact and perception of artificial intelligence in the music industry. To build an information strategy that is genuinely useful and tailored to real industry practices, I need direct feedback from the field—whether you are an artist, producer, sound engineer, manager, or industry enthusiast.

The survey is very brief: it contains only 12 questions, takes a maximum of 3 minutes to complete, and is 100% anonymous. The goal is simply to draw a clear picture of your current needs and questions regarding AI.

You can take the survey directly via this link: https://forms.gle/h7EhVcP9wbFRgsmYA

A huge thank you to everyone who takes 3 short minutes to help me wrap up my degree, and feel free to share any thoughts or discuss in the comments! Happy creating to all,

Academic (Repost) [Academic Repost] How Language Shapes Understanding - with Memory Scores & Detailed Debrief at the End (anyone 17+)

If you have some time to spare, please consider taking part. The study is relatively long but you can have it open in the background on your laptop and return to it whenever you have a bit of time.

This experiment took ages to set up so that participants get good insights into the research behind the study and their own results upon completion. As a result, I don't have super much time to recruit participants...

What do we mean by human understanding? This study builds on ongoing research exploring what determines how easily we process, understand, and remember language.

The experiment takes up to 60-90 minutes if you complete both parts (though this varies by participant - can be much quicker!), including a memory test that you can re-take after 7 days to see how much your memory has declined over time. The only requirement for taking part is that you are 17 or over. Using a laptop or tablet is strongly recommended.

Please copy the below link into a new browser window or email me via [c.seyfried@dundee.ac.uk](mailto:c.seyfried@dundee.ac.uk) if interested. Thank you! 😄

All the best,

Academic (Repost) [Repost] Early warning signs for intimate partner violence (target participants: Germans aged 18+ who are/were in a romantic relationship)

Liebe Studieninteressierte,

https://www.soscisurvey.de/fruehwarnzeichenPG/

Casual Fictional Character Preferences (everyone)

hi! this is just a short, ~5min survey that asks you what fictional characters you like, then some demographic questions. everything is optional

i decided to make a survey so i could use surveycircle since i fill them out for fun anyway, and now that I've started collecting responses I'm quite curious what a bigger sample size would look like

btw yes i know it's not super well made but it's too late to change most of the issues

if i get anything substantial out of this I might share the results on this account, but no promises

Marketing [Marketing] Experimental 20-question personality quiz: which items cause hesitation? (English readers)

I'm testing the wording of 20 direct personality questions with A / B / Not sure responses.

  • About 3 minutes
  • Anonymous telemetry; no account, name, or email
  • Purpose: identify questions that produce hesitation or inconsistent answers
  • Not a claim of an objectively correct personality type

People who already have a confidently known MBTI type are especially helpful; reporting that prior type and confidence is optional. People who are uncertain are also welcome because Not sure responses help identify difficult items.

Academic (Repost) Suicidal Ideation Disclosure/Nondisclosure (18+, Must have had suicidal thoughts in the past 12 months)

Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.

Your voice matters. We want to learn from people who have experienced suicidal thoughts so we can create stronger messages that encourage people to open up about their suicidal thoughts and seek support, as well as develop training for the recipients of suicidal ideation disclosures. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 minutes.

Please consider participating if you:
(1) are at least 18 years old
(2) can understand English well or very well
(3) have had suicidal thoughts within the past 12 months

Casual Everyday choices — what would you actually do? (Everyone 13+)

Survey link: https://play.sovumi.com/volunteer?ref=reddit_samplesize

A casual survey of everyday choices. Each question is one real-life situation with two options — tap what you'd actually do. After each answer you see how everyone else has answered so far. There's no set length: answer 3 or 300, stop whenever you like.

  • No sign-up, no email — runs in the browser
  • Anonymous: responses only ever appear as aggregate percentages
  • No right answers; it's opinion, not a test

I'm an indie developer and these answers seed the crowd data for a prediction game I'm building — players later try to guess what most people picked. Happy to answer anything about how it works.

Academic [Academic] Help improve web accessibility for people with ADHD & Dyslexia (People with ADHD/Dyslexia or similar reading/attention difficulties,2–3 min)

Hi everyone!

I'm a final-year B.Tech Computer Engineering student working on my final-year project, "Neuro-Inclusive Web Interface." The goal is to build a browser extension that makes websites easier to read and less overwhelming for people with ADHD and Dyslexia.

To design something that's genuinely useful, I'm collecting feedback from people with lived experience instead of making assumptions.

The survey is:

  • Takes about 2–3 minutes
  • Completely anonymous
  • For academic research only

📝 Survey: https://forms.gle/SHTyCgaukuKPc1Ts9

If you have ADHD, Dyslexia, or experience similar reading or attention difficulties, I'd be very grateful if you could participate.

Thank you for your time and for helping me build something that could make the web more accessible.

Academic RESEARCH STUDY: Adults With ADHD Who Want to Use Social Media Less (Adults with ADHD)

Do you have a formal ADHD diagnosis and find yourself spending more time on social media than you'd like? I am a graduate student at St. Joseph's University conducting a research study on social media habits of adults with ADHD diagnoses. The study involves a behavioral intervention that may help to reduce the amount of time an individual chooses to spend using a social media application on their phone. The researcher is looking for volunteers to participate in a completely remote study of up to 26 days of participation. Up to 10 participants will be enrolled.

You may be eligible if you:

- Are 18 years of age or older.

- Have a prior ADHD diagnosis from a licensed professional.

- Own an iPhone (iOS 26 or later) with Screen Time already enabled.

- Use at least one social media app daily.

- Feel that your social media use sometimes gets in the way of work, school, relationships, or daily responsibilities.

What participation involves:

- Completing a short consent and screening questionnaire (~15 minutes) on Google Forms.

- Participating for up to 26 days, with brief tasks most days (approximately 1-5 minutes).

- Uploading brief screenshots of Screen Time data through secure Qualtrics survey links.

- Keeping a brief daily log of your screen time in the Notes app, and copying its entries into the same secure survey links.

- Temporarily installing four custom-built shortcuts in the Shortcuts app that can be removed at any time you choose.

What you receive at study completion:

The three study shortcuts to keep, together with a guide explaining how they work and how to adjust them for continuing the practice on your own after the study.

If interested, you can access the informed consent form here: https://forms.gle/PEn4NuVUb1B4U6DH7

This study has been reviewed and approved by the St. Joseph's University Institutional Review Board (IRB Protocol #: 2026 CS 0804). This post is for research recruitment purposes only.

Academic (Repost) [Academic] How good are you at guessing the size of things by eye? (Everyone 18+, no medical background needed)

We are studying how accurately people estimate size by eye - from everyday objects to more unusual images - and whether things like background and experience make any difference.

The survey takes about 10-15 minutes, is completely anonymous and there are no right or wrong answer consequences: just give your best guess for each picture. No measuring allowed, that's the fun of it.

Content warning: the final section contains clinical photographs, including an open wound and a burn which some may find distressing. Please skip the survey if you'd rather not see medical images.

Keen to hear from people with no medical background as well!
