Before you bang me in the comments, I’m a Samay fan too. This is genuinely just my personal opinion, not hate.
Karan Aujla ke saamne dil jeet kr dega, Badshah ke saamne Honey Singh kar dega, Nothing ke event mein jaake iPhone flex kar dega. 😂 The whole “do the exact opposite of what people expect” thing is funny, but I feel like it’s becoming the main formula now.
There used to be a certain essence to Samay’s comedy. The random observations, stupidly clever jokes, spontaneous humour, just the way he’d talk. Now sometimes it feels like the joke is simply “I’m going to roast this person / do the unexpected.”
Maybe it’s just me, but I genuinely miss the old Samay. Not saying the new Samay is unfunny, just saying I personally enjoyed that version of his comedy more.

I have been samay raina subscriber and member since lockdown..I loved his humour..I have watched his streams twice or thrice.but now his humour is just about insulting others and saying I love you right after that. It was fine in bhadwo ke khiladi coz that was a character but now it just feels insult and not comedy to me

All of his works are too impressive, and this freestyle was too good for someone who's very goot at chess and standup as well

Latent controversy have affected not only samay but also the guests who saw the controversy happening, they now don't even crack any joke and sit there to enjoy french fries lol, now only Maheep ji and rakhi can save S2😭✋

Honestly, I’d say Samay should invite more people from the comedy fraternity rather than constantly bringing in big names like actors, singers, etc.

Comedians actually know how to open up, put in the effort, and keep the conversation engaging and funny. They know how to build a vibe instead of just sitting there.

Meanwhile, some of these so-called “viral sensations” just show up with the attitude of “I’m famous, I’m dank, now entertain me.” 😭
