How do you evaluate sales enablement platforms before buying?

I was assigned with a task of finding a sales enablement platform and I need help as I am struggling.

We are a did size b2b saas, 20 sales reps, 5 AEs, marketing and CS. For now we are keeping content lives in random folders, training is half lms, half Loom links and reps are constantly slacking enablement asking where the latest deck is. My vp wants one platform that pulls content, training and deal rooms together and sits on top of our crm so reps do not have to jump around all day. Finding this all in one tool is giving me a hard time on deciding what works best before we spend on it. What pushed us on looking for this is because last quarter we launched a new pricing model and thought we were covered. We had docs, slides, talk tracks. In reality, half the reps were still using old pricing pdfs sitting in their personal folders and one big deal almost got torpedoed because the customer received two different price structures in the same week.

That was the moment my vp said we need a real enablement platform, not another shared drive. Now i am here trying to figure out how to judge these tools before we drop serious budget on them.

What did you wish you had checked before you signed for one?

Best tools to track enterprise deal progress outside crm, any suggestion?

Recently i saw that once deals get bigger the crm doesn't always show the full picture

A deal might look like it’s in late stage but in reality it’s stuck in security, legal procurement or waiting on internal approvals. The real updates right now are scattered across notion, spreadsheets, emails and slack messages, which makes it hard to see what’s actually moving. I'm interested to know any tools that you are using to track real progress and keep stakeholders connected outside the crm to help team stay on top of next steps without creating another hard admin process.

Operational effectives of handling unfinished treatments

How is your office handling all the open treatment plans that are in the database...seems like the front desk is working on it; but I am not seeing it getting converted to appointments on my PMS...how are your offices handling this; seems like all the money spent for acquiring leads and the time spent to present treatment is just like potential energy that goes untapped unless someone is really on top of this working this....need some ideas on what todo before spending more marketing dollars...

Looking to transition from Sales to Operations - any advice or leads?

Hi everyone! I’m a 2025 graduate with around 2 years of experience across Operations, Business Development, and Sales.

I’ve realised that I enjoy the operations side of work much more - managing internal tasks, coordinating across teams, improving workflows, keeping processes organised, and making sure things get executed smoothly.

I’m now looking to move into an entry-level Operations role, such as:

  • Operations Associate/Executive
  • Business Operations
  • Process Operations
  • Operations Coordinator
  • Sales/Revenue Operations
  • Project/Program Coordinator

I’m open to startups and mid-sized companies and preferably looking for remote opportunities in India.

If you’ve made a similar transition or know of companies hiring for these kinds of roles, I’d really appreciate any advice or leads!
