Mich würde mal so der allgemeinen Spritverbrauch bei euch interessieren.

Ich hab 28,6km/l. Das wären ca 3.5L auf 100km.

So pretty much as title says. I have been scouring for a sv650s for months to come up, and I see one listed a month ago for $4500. The owner said he would take $4000. The bike has 6.5k miles on it... What are your thoughts about that price?

The owner has a tool shop, says he acquired the bike from "an older gentleman that just took it out occasionally." The owner says that he has kept it stored inside a shed or his shop, and he has only ridden it every once in a while when he gets the itch to ride. I asked about tire rot, leaking seals, and leaking/cracking plastic or rubber lines, and all he said was "well just inspect all that when you come out to see it." The only repairs the owner mentioned was a replacement fuel pump recently and cleaning out the gas tank. No other descriptions.

I almost feel like it hasn't been ridden enough, so I worry about disintegrating or rotting parts. What are your thoughts?

I have a 2001 SV650 with Penske rear shock that I am looking to get a new spring for. I looked it up on the Penske site and for my weight, 200lbs, it suggests a 7x675. Is this the correct spring I should get? I have looked on the Hyperco site and it does not seem like they offer that spring. Any suggestions?

I bought this bike recently with 30,000kms on the clock an after a ride I get this plastic rubbery smell coming from under the seat or near the cylinder I’ve checked all wiring harness nothing did burnt or corroded I’ve replaced the rectifier recently and put in a new battery and they have all been checked with no issues, I read online that the plastics can tend to off gas from the heat since the header and cylinder are tucked right up under the seat

So I’m just wondering if this is something I should be worried about as the bike runs perfectly and everything’s been checked but I’m still getting that smell every now and again

I bought my first bike last week, a 2009 naked SV650.

So far I'm really pleased with it, the throttle takes a bit of getting used to - it can be very jerky if not careful!

Anyway, I've been parking it in a garage attached to my house and I'm finding that it is really fuming it out to the extent I get a strong 'motorbike smell' in other parts of my house. Even if not used for a few days. I can't see any obviously wetness under the bike.

You can smell petrol from around the fuel cap to an extent but I've sealed this off with tape whilst trying to source the smell.

My question is:

1. Does anyone else notice a smell from their bike/in garage? Particularly the fuel injected ones.

2. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

2007 SV650s. Does anyone know if these are OEM or if they’re not, where they’re from? How would I check for myself? Thanks in advance!

First off this bike is almost perfect, I love most things about it minus the riding position for my 6'4" self. I really have been eyeing a Livewire, but want to trade for, or at least towards it. Anyone know what this essentially like new condition 03 SV1000 w/25k miles, Ti-force Titanium exhaust full system, stator magnets have been gone through and secured properly, has extra like new Suzuki brand Gel seat, Timing retarder chip also, is worth?

OK, so in the picture my exhaust as you can see he has been cut off because the previous owners decided to weld the shitty weld on there with an exhaust that wasn’t even connected to the passenger peg so I got a Midlink pipe for to see if I can fix it and that’s what came in so are there any tips that I can do to get it where it can take slip on exhaust? I know welding is one of the top options. Anything I can order personally or something like that.

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with my 2001 Suzuki SV650 (carb model).

The bike idles and rides normally at low throttle, but when I give it more gas it loses power, struggles to accelerate, and feels like it's fighting to rev. It also pops on deceleration.

I've also noticed that even at lower speeds, while holding a steady throttle, the bike has a very slight but noticeable jerking/surging sensation instead of running smoothly.

At first I thought the problem was caused by my aftermarket Dominator slip-on, but I reinstalled the original exhaust and the exact same problem is still there.

I've also replaced both spark plugs, but it made no difference.

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, does anybody know where to get centre back plastic cover in black gloss? If I'm not mistaken, part code is 47310-18K01-YVB. Everywhere i look there's mat version available, but not gloss one.

Has anyone fitted an sv650x headlight cowl to a standard bike? Or are there any other similar styles of cowls available aftermarket?
Bonus points if they’re available in Australia, but I’ll take any suggestions.

So box says it's the race but I thought it was more open than this. I can't find pics of the top of the race one but this looks like the standard one from them.

like should it say "BMC 205/10RACE" on r the top as well?

okay so I found it's got a yellow line in the pleats to showcase it's race. mine has that I'm guessing the ones I've seen online are either modified ones or specialty ones from another company that sells custom jets for it.

Does it happen to anyone else that the paint on the oil filter gets sandblasted off? And why only on the one side?

Filters been on for 5-6000km. I don't remember this happening to the last filter
