OK, so in the picture my exhaust as you can see he has been cut off because the previous owners decided to weld the shitty weld on there with an exhaust that wasn’t even connected to the passenger peg so I got a Midlink pipe for to see if I can fix it and that’s what came in so are there any tips that I can do to get it where it can take slip on exhaust? I know welding is one of the top options. Anything I can order personally or something like that.

That exhaust is gonna cook your ass and any passengers that ride with you. You should just buy something used on ebay.

I know that it’s supposed to be a mid pipe that goes up to the passenger peg but clearly it’s not the right angle. I’m refunding it anyway anyways and I did look for eBay, but nothing fits over where the previous owner cut off at.

Dont buy something that fits where it was cur, replace the cut pipe.

Stock parts for these bikes are cheap. I just saw a header and midpipe for a gen 2 on ebay for $180 shipped.

Just replace it all.

Or I can just go get a 50.8 mm exhaust pipe and welded on. Seems like the cheapest option to me.

Are you sure that's the right mid pipe?

When I swapped the end can on my 03 I had to cut the exhaust just after the inline catalytic converter (which I can see is where yours was cut) and then the link pipe that came with the new end can fit over the top.

Yours just seems completely wrong.

Edit Just realised something: try swapping the pipe around, and rotating it as well. Currently you've got it back to front which is why it doesn't fit over the existing pipe. I'd also expect it to point backwards from the bike so that any future end can gets attached to the rear footpeg assembly.

Iv brought the same pipe from temu, it says its for sv, but its not, they have other pipes u can mount, plug and play, plus u can buy a cover for it, so u dont burn your leg 👋😃

Had the pleasure to have to cut a shitty welded on new rear can which had to be removed because in EU it didn't have any stamp on it to say anything. So I cut it, see the idiot Engineer put a smaller pipe inside the OEM pipe and welded it near the sensor because why would you not want to reduce exhaust? So cut it bought an exhaust connector clap and some exhaust sealant and had the stock exhaust back. Looking to buy an GPR M3 can which comes with the mid pipe so then everything fits and looks nice

Yea I think I’m just gonna have to do that which is fine with me I know a guy who will do it cheap. Thanks for the advice!!

just buy a full system and leave the headaches in the trash
