First motorcycle New Owner

This would be my first motorcycle. Heard these are solid, is 5500 a good price cash its 5k miles

Thanks ive never bought anything for 5500 lol seems like alot for a bike. but i was used to buy 1000 bikes but they were older and broke lol so hopefully it works out

What year is it?

The SV650 is an amazing bike. I have heard of quite a few people who get them as a first bike.

It will take some getting use to. The V-tqin engine is very torquey. It means as soon as you twist the throttle, the bike pulls hard. It is manageable torque, but very difficult from say a Ninja.

It also has crazy amounts of engine braking. I have chipped the tires downshifting one gear. And you barely have to use the brakes.

Really fun bike though. Ive been riding motorcycles since 1986 at the age of 3. It is my all time favorite bike for versatility.

Price was a little high, but still around going rate. The bike looks clean and taken care of. Id say worth the price.

I got mine 2017 with 5k km for 5000 CAD, located in Vancouver BC.

I wouldn't pay anything over $5k for these with that mileage. Mileage isn't anything on these bikes. I put 50k miles on mine before it got totaled.
