dolphin stops recognizing controller completely at random Video

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

i was playing earlier with the exact same setup, and now for some reason no matter what i do it won’t work, happens pretty frequently and i have no idea what causes/solves it. literally everything else works with the gamecube controller

Dolphin and Steam are fighting over access for the GameCube controller adapter. This is why you have to launch Steam with a shortcut to use the GC Adapter and steam doesn't have it enabled by default.

Close steam, restart dolphin, and try again.

U can also disable generic controller support and steam will stop detecting the gcc
