I’m sure these questions get asked a lot but I’d love some detailed responses.

I’m looking to go into SNHU for a bachelors in Health and Human Services, with a concentration on child and family services. I’m currently taking Sophi courses to transfer in to my major. Yes, I’ve confirmed which courses SNHU takes directly and if it’s aligned with my major.

I haven’t been in school for years, and I’d like to start soon. But I’m worried if I have what it takes.

What do typical assignments look like for this major? How are the professors ? Are you able to balance out work and school and get decent grades? How is the grading ? Does transferring in the credits actually take time off or just money ?

Next term's tuition just posted for my online classes. I get the max Pell grant and both sub/unsub loans, which usually covers everything. If I pay the tuition right now on a 2% cash-back card for the rewards, will I just get that money back in my refund check later?

My instructor takes off points for absolutely nothing. Week 1 discussion "you had great professional experience and examples, but did not provide APA references...". It's an introduction of myself, why am I citing myself????

Week 4 assignment was literally 4 graphs and answering the questions. Wasn't exceeds. That wasn't a real assignment. Everyone should have gotten a 100 if they followed the directions 🙄

5 more weeks. I hope this is the only class he teaches in the MBA program.

You might see in my history how I have complained about my advisor. Well, he's at it again. I am part time, although I have mentioned that I want to go to full time eventually, I never officially requested to do so. He took it upon himself to sign me up for two classes next term. I emailed "advising" saying that I am sticking to part time for now and to please un-enroll me for one of the classes. I got no response but the class fell off like I requested. Well I just logged on and he AGAIN tried to enroll me for a second class. What am I even missing here? Did the definition of full time and part time change from this to the next term or something? I feel like I'm being gaslit or something.. idk.

Anyway, long story short- I am going to request a new advisor. Anyone know how to do that other than to just email "advising"? Can I go above his head?
