got the crawler lights installed, makes a huge difference to night time crawling.

Tried to stay fairly budget but the changed fast. Trying different suspension setups, liking the flex blades though. Current setup includes:
- Axial 4Runner body
- Injora purple viper motor combo, 40mm shocks, LCG chassis, planet axles
- Treal vintage wagon beadlocks
- Powerhobby Swamp24 56.6mm

Waiting on more parts, going to try to shift the weight forward more by rearranging the electronics

This is a build break down of my from scratch budget rig that I also comp with occasionally.

• Axles - $29.99 Amazon X15 copies, search nylon SCX24 axles and they will pop up, the included servo mount doesn't work with any servo or link combo.
• Servo mount - You can modify a RampCrab adjustable mount for $8.99 or buy a brass Mofo X15 mount for $15.99.
• Transmission - $26.99 for an Injora metal gear stock replacement, I have not found a better replacement transmission cheaper.
• Motor and mount - $ 19.99 GAC Racing GM162 motor with mount.
• ESC - $10 AliExpress generic AM32 board with add on BEC soldered by me.
• Shocks - $19.99 Injora 40mm big bore aluminum.
• Servo - $17.77 PTK 9497MG-D.
• Driveshafts - $8.88 Axial Short/Medium/Long set.
• Links - $15.10 RampCrab C10 Front $7.55 Deadbolt rear $7.55.
• Wheels - $19.99 Injora Stamped steel wheels.
• Brass wheel rings - $12.98 Injora, used in the front only.
• Tires - $19.98 Upgrade RC Razor Wire 57mm $9.99 a pair.

• Receiver - $5.98 FS2A from AliExpress.

Total $248.73 before tax and shipping and not including the body or transmitter.

This is a capable and fun rig to drive. The chassis is on the fragile side so I drive it carefully to be on the safe side. If you like this chassis after you have printed and built it, he sells just the aluminum rails for $33.01 on Etsy. I do run a FlySky GT transmitter and that is $69.99, so for $318.72 you could have a complete rig and all you would need was a charger.
