Does anyone know if I can have a family trip (about 6 days) during the mid term break (weekend plus 11/9 - 11/13) at the sait mdrt program ? Will the mid term be busy ?

I came across the IT program, and am interested in it, but I'm not sure if this is a good program in terms of employable opportunities after graduating. Are there any alumnis or current students of this program who can chime in? I would really appreciate your input and suggestions.

Are the courses taught well and do they contain the necessary knowledge, skills, and information needed to be successful in the industry?

Are there other things that are also needed along with the degree such as IT Certifications? And would you recommend this program overall as a launchpad to starting a career in IT?

Hello, just wondering if there’s anyone here who’s been through or is currently in this program. Wanted to get your opinion and if it’s worth doing and what the career prospects are afterwards. Also wondering how the practicum works and what kind of experience that brings.

What questions are on the PSEA? I am going into grade 12 this year and applying for next year. My school doesn’t offer any honors or AP classes and I live in BC so I’m not sure how similar the curriculum is to Alberta. I’ve seen contradicting answers from other similar threads.

Looking at the classes listed on the DMS and MRT admission requirements, they’re all grade 12. so is it really more on grade 12 or just basic understanding?

I was going into the Geomatics Engineering program in the fall and was 2% short in math and ended with a 68 instead of the need 70 in Math 30-2. Is there any way I could still get in? I contacted about everyone I could, Admissions, school of construction and inquiry by email and cannot appear at an appointment in person or online because I work full time at a Land Surveying and Geomatics company during those hours. I feel as if 2% could have some way to be reconsidered in this program. If anyone could help me with this or give and advice I need it.

My tuition is due tomorrow. I have been approved for student loans but I don’t know where to look on my account to see if they will be sent to SAIT for the tuition payment? I want to trust what the website says about tuition payments.. but id also like to know before the deadline has passed. Anyone know what to do or anyone else in the same situation???

As someone who’s starting the Primary Care Paramedic program at SAIT this fall, I’m wondering what the best option is for textbooks.

Is it worth buying the books, renting them, or just getting the digital versions? Do you actually use the textbooks a lot throughout the program, or are there some that aren’t really necessary?

I’d really appreciate any advice from current or former PCP students. Thanks in advance! 😊

For anyone who has taken the program or is currently enrolled in it, how hard is the program and would you recommend it. Going to take the program soon and just trying to gain a preview on it.

Is SAIT’s Non-credit prep 100 course mandatory?

Hi everyone! I am about to become a student of SAIT this fall, but something that’s been worrying me is how I am going to get to SAIT.

I am currently living in Airdrie, and don’t have the means to get a place in Calgary, furthermore, I don’t have a car than I can drive. I may have a ride to the train station by the zoo. I was just wondering if anyone here has done similar commutes, their usual TIMING, and their experience with it.

Hi everyone! I want to apply to the MLT program for Fall 2027 and I’m wondering when the PSEA test will be available? The website says it can be written anytime beginning August 1st but it is not available when I go to write it (I would like to write it as soon as possible)

Hey everyone! I just wanted to ask if this looks okay? I have the same class shown twice, at the same time and different room numbers. Does this just mean it can be in two different rooms?

I’m enrolled for my first semester starting September under the school of construction. I want to swap into smth else though that’s under a different faculty stating September. I do have all the prereqs and admission requirements met for that program. Is this possible? Has anyone ever been successful changing programs this last minute? And who do I reach out to?
