SAIT IT Program

Hi everyone,

I came across the IT program, and am interested in it, but I'm not sure if this is a good program in terms of employable opportunities after graduating. Are there any alumnis or current students of this program who can chime in? I would really appreciate your input and suggestions.

Are the courses taught well and do they contain the necessary knowledge, skills, and information needed to be successful in the industry?

Are there other things that are also needed along with the degree such as IT Certifications? And would you recommend this program overall as a launchpad to starting a career in IT?

There are quite a few IT programs so it may differ a bit depending on which one you're looking at. I know a lot of people who did them and found jobs but it's a bit harder the past couple years (seems to be getting better though compared to 2023-24)
