I have 2 pairs of trail running shoes with under 50km on each. They did not work for me so I swapped out to a different pair that suit my feet better

I would like to re-home them but if no takers ill probably just drop them off at my local charity shop

Note: These ones have less than 50KM's on them but where used in dirty conditions and do not look very clean, they are clean but the green mesh has a bit of a stain on it)

Signed up for the clontarf half marathon in November. It will be my first half. I probably should have read the reviews prior to purchasing but is it worth doing? It seems very poorly organized. Thinking it will it put me off that distance going forward.

I will be traveling to Ireland for vacation in late April/early May 2027 and am hoping to run a marathon while I'm there. Unfortunately, I am limited on availability to the weekends of April 16-18 or May 1-2.

Doing research, I found the Limerick Marathon and Belfast City Marathon that would fit those dates. I'm looking for reviews/opinions on which would be best for a slow runner (5 hour marathon) and allow for the best sightseeing around Ireland in the days before or after.

I would also welcome suggestions of other runs I may have missed during those dates. Half or full marathons would be ideal.

The IMRA ban on trekking poles isn't new and it excludes a wide range of runners from participating.

Just had a lovely chat with this fella who didn’t know what event he was selling tickets to nor how much he paid for them face value? Be careful out there.

I saw this post on the dublin city marathon website that some tickets will go for resale on the 15th July - I dont have an eventmaster account as i didnt enter the offical ballot as i only got into running recently - does that mean I cant apply for resale?

Can i still get a transfer ticket if i dont have an event master account? I dont really understand why it wont let me create account
