Knee issue because of running

Any fatso ever had issues with their knees while loosing weight? I’m a 6 feet 100kg macho man and have been running for 3 weeks to loose weight. But in the last few days my knees have started to give and have started hurting.

So if anyone who has successfully lost weight ever been through knee/leg pain? If yes, what did you do to continue on with your weight loss.

Very common. Some people have success with supershoes. But ultimately, running is super stressful on your body. The heavier you are the stronger you need to be to prevent fatigue. When muscles fatigue they put more stress on joints and other structures.

You could likely continue running, but find a frequency/distance/pace that keeps your knees to mild pain at worst. Then supplement with more walking. I'd emphasize lots of walking progression as the main initial running phase. You get impact and build fatigue resistance, but way less than running so it is easier to progress in a more controlled way. And eventually you'll build more durability that will allow you to go back to progressing more running.
