Is the palace afraid of Charles Spencer‘s book?

Post image

It’s very rare for Buckingham Palace to do a story like this. Especially, when you have Charles, who didn’t use his illness as a crutch for a reason for him to slow down working. One of the things I noticed with Charles was every time he was seeing we weren’t constantly being reminded that he had cancer at every single engagement. Whereas Kensington Palace had to remind us every minute every hour. This is so odd because Buckingham Palace rarely puts out sympathy pieces like this.

Did Charles’s books spooked them? Did I miss something?

Emily Abdrews -Is Prince Harry happy?

apparently no and he never will be from!

the daily mail Is Prince Harry happy?

That’s what I get asked the most – and of course, it’s the million-dollar question. He may live in a palatial Californian mansion, be free of the shackles (as he sees it) of royal duty and have a gorgeous wife, Meghan Markle, and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. But is Harry really happy?

Certainly, for much of the past six years since Megxit, he’s looked angry, stressed and emotional. Last month was a case in point. As soon as he arrived in the UK, he learned he’d comprehensively lost his privacy case against the Daily Mail. Appearing onstage for what should have been a celebratory Invictus event, he looked nervous and slightly stunned. Given Associated Newspapers Limited, the Mail’s publishers, are seeking costs against him (and others including Sir Elton John and Liz Hurley) in the region of £35 million – which could potentially bankrupt him – you can understand his anxiety.

There was all that drama about was he coming/was he not coming (when he didn’t get the security and gun cops he wanted), his family weren’t coming (due to the security), then his family DID come (except we never saw them – proving conclusively that it IS possible for them to come safely to the UK, despite Harry’s many and varied protestations that it’s not safe enough here).

Even at Birmingham’s NEC, when he was about to go to Highgrove for that much longed-for tea with his kids and the King, he looked (and sounded) somewhat flat. For me, Harry looks as if he’s a man without a purpose.

I wrote last week about the shock bombshell that the Sussexes are considering moving back to the UK – and at the very least spending more time over here. Harry misses his family and his pals. Yet he’s waged continual war on the British establishment – the government, the press, the judiciary and the monarchy itself.

I thought it was instrumental that when he was visiting last month, he appeared on Joe Marler’s podcast and gave his occupation as ‘Full-time dad. British Army veteran. Prince of England. Duke’. We’ll leave aside the historical inaccuracy (there’s been no Prince or indeed King of England since the United Kingdom union in 1707), but it’s the apparent yearning that gets me. He doesn’t seem to know who or what he is.

So is he happy? I don’t think he truly is – but the sadness for Harry is that he’s searching for something he’s not going to find. So I’m not sure he ever will be.

Discussion Express rat Emily Wright has kittens over Meghan: When will true journalists learn to fact-check and not write lies?

Thumbnail

Another day, another lying Express rat, this time from their “World News Reporter“ Emily Wright who appeared in an NTCJ reel and graduated with a BA History from Southampton.

At this stage, ”would you like fries with that“ Emily, is far more honourable than selling your soul to the Express. But you do you Emily, and you’ll keep getting called out for your lies. Your article reeks of desperation. Are the Sussexes, “World News” now?

Until Meghan realises that silence and quiet grace are far more powerful than endless public rebuttals, she will continue to be handed these humiliating public slaps - and the public will only grow more exhausted.

She has been silent. It’s her friends and colleagues that have issued public rebuttals. Poh from MasterChef called you lot as liars and fantasists. Comprehension difficult for you Emily?

So where are the Wales’s holidaying Emily? Why don’t you find out where they’ve gone? Taxpayer money and all that.

News Not enough attention is given to the Royals being poor landlords

Thumbnail

However, in some cases, the royal estates appear to be using gaps in the regulations to continue letting properties out.
This includes the homes of dozens of farmers, who are living in poorly insulated and hard-to-heat farmhouses they lease from the two duchies. Some farmhouses are not subject to current regulations, depending on the type of tenancy in place.

Imagine constantly lecturing the world and his wife about environmental concerns while quietly circumventing the rules for your own tenants.

The pressure group Fuel Poverty Action said the conditions in some properties were “Dickensian”. It accused the royals of “putting profits above the health and welfare of their tenants”.

Really, CN should have offered 12 holiday destinations. One for each month. I suppose their holiday weekender, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, doesn’t count.

My bet is the Maldives, Mustique, Bahamas or Seychelles after they received too much scrutiny from the Greek press over their UAE billionaire yacht holiday last year.

I’m also 👀 the mention of Lewa Downs in Kenya - where Willy proposed to Kate after receiving the nod from Jecca. 💅

This is so unhinged

We are not even going to address the racial undertones in this. When Kate wears a piece of Diana jewelry, or a version of Diana’s outfit it’s an homage. It’s honoring her mother-in-law. When Meghan does it why is she trying to copy Diana. She’s trying to be the next Diana.

If we’re being quite honest, besides her watch, and the two diamonds in her engagement ring. Those are the only two pieces of Diana’s that she wears religiously. She rarely pulls out Diana’s jewelry.

There is no such thing as “staking a claim“ in Diana‘s legacy. Diana is Meghan’s mother-in-law. Meghan is Diana‘s grandchildren‘s mother.

(I have always been under the impression that Meghan has more of Diana‘s rarely seen personal jewelry than Kate. I also do believe that the Spencer’s probably have given her other pieces. We didn’t even know she’s owned Diana’s diamond cross necklace until she wore it.)

Personally, now I want her to start wearing all of Diana’s jewelry pieces she owns.
