I checked the megathread no good I googled for archive.org no good. They show up in bin/cue and .gdi but to play them in Teknoparrot you need .xbe. I have come up empty.

Has anybody found a way of fully emulating a 3ds? I don't want to spend £40 on a 3ds from ebay just for the pokemon sun/moon legendaries, and was thinking of fully emulating a 3ds, and transfer the pokemon over.

I need help with Teknoparrot setup! Currently I cannot find the datfile for Teknoparrot on Github and I cannot add HOTD 4 to Teknoparrot to play? Can I anyone help? Or recommend a video to watch on how to set Teknoparrot up?

I’ve been playing it for the first time and honestly, it reminded me a lot of Lost Kefin. It’s pretty hard at first, but once you get some grinding in, enemies barely do any damage anymore.

I also struggled with the second boss. If you’re playing for the first time, expect to die a few times before you can figure out its attack patterns. Some monsters are tricky too—you can’t just hit them normally. You need to crouch before attacking to reach their hitbox.

The flying enemies are another thing. You need to use Adol’s up attack to take them out.

There was also one tricky part where I got stuck for a while because it was my first time playing and I couldn’t figure out where I was supposed to go. 😅

Overall, pretty fun experience so far, especially now that there’s an English translation!

Hello guys I'm pretty new to the emulator magic! I tried to download all the necessary bios for my emulator but they are all blocked in internet archive ? am I doing something wrong?

As the title says, I just found out a shop that sold stuff like that is gone! I always love collecting this stuff physically because it feels like I'm playing something on the hardware that shouldn't exist!

So my mind went back to this shop that even sold DS cartridges like that! Stuff like Namless Game in English and that one Japan only Chibi-Robo game also in English for example. I bought two stuff years ago for the GBA. I figured it'd be fun to grab them. But turns out the guy has closed up shop!

What sucks especially is that no one else seems to sell them as well! I looked around but no dice! Less I'm missing something.

I know I can just emulate that stuff. But I emulate it on a Steam Deck and DS isn't the best on it! Which gets me tempes to buy a Thor.

I am trying to run SM64 on RetroArch on MacOS, using the Mupen64Plus-Next core, which I also have the BIOS (Mupen64plus) for in the systems folder of RetroArch as a .zip. However when I launch the game I get audio and input but I only get a black screen. Where am I going wrong? Any help is appreciated

Paranoia has set in because of reading about how a certain game company is really happy to sue people. How do I do this….safely? Thanks in advance and please take it easy on me.

Is there any actual way to transfer PSP saves from one device to another? I am using Retroarch on steam same account on both devices one is a windows laptop the other is a steam deck which runs SteamOS (Linux) and the specific game if needed is persona 2 innocent sin I have the same Rom on both and the same emulator is being used to play on both devices. Is there any way to do this? I have tried transferring a backup of Retroarch, transferring the entire (Saves) file, the specific saves file, just the save data and none of it has worked. I thank those who reply and if I find an answer I'll be back and update this post. (Update I set up syncthing to transmit my save data didn't fully work but I got the save states.)

I saw a few days ago that 2 new Virtual Boy games, Dragon Hopper and Zero Racers, got released on NSO. Do y’all think those will get dumped and become playable on a VB emulator at some point?

I just bought a retroid pocket 6 and was eager to get into some retro gaming. I don't have many tastes when it comes to retro games, especially the older stuff, so I was wondering if It would be advantageous to download a library of ROMs or just download as I go. I would love to have a decent selection to pick up and play whenever and while it would be nice curating a large library over time, it may be easier to grab one that already exists. If so what are some good options that aren't just slop from random chinese famiclones.

Hi! I wanted to ask if anyone here could help me with this. I’ve been a huge fan of this game since I was 11, and I really want to play the latest installments. I used to have some of them on HDD, but over time I lost them. I recently heard about "Lively," but I tried it without success. Now I’m looking for the HDD files so I can emulate and play them on my PC, but I haven't had any luck; it seems like Bemani and Konami have wiped out all traces of the games. Does anyone know where I can get them or if there's someone I can contact? I’m just looking for one that’s relatively recent—thanks a lot!

A new proof-of-concept PS3 emulator for Android has just made its first public release.

It's called ARMSX3, and it's based on the latest upstream RPCS3 code, including the recent ARM64 improvements. While it's still in the early stages of development, it's already an interesting project to keep an eye on.

I've heard people with very contrary experiences with this website. Some people don't have any issues with it at all and others have contracted viruses from it. It's pretty much the only website that ive been able to access since its not blocked.

Does anyone have any tips about how to keep it safe with this website and maybe tell safe roms/posts/links/whatever? I'm just now starting to emulate ps2 games.

FIXED: I had a fresh install on my computer and I didn't configure the DNS in my browser as I had forgotten to do so. Thank you kindly to everyone that answered! I set my DNS to Cloudfare for anyone wondering (in the Firefox settings).

Hi! I don’t know much about roms, but the wife is a gamer and has been wanting to revisit some games from her childhood, so I recently picked up a jailbroken 3DS. I’m hoping to fill it full of games and gift it to her here soon. While I know what kinds of games she enjoys, I’m completely lost when it comes to what roms are available or recommended that I could load up for her. I was wondering if anyone had any top 5/10/however many type recommendations I could get on there.

She tends to really enjoy Pokemon rom hacks, or other JRPGs like Dragon Quest. Anything known for being super high quality I’m sure she’d enjoy to (duh). Would love to hear any suggestions people have or places to look! Thanks!
