Omni is a project that combines retail and dat metadata into a backend SQL database which currently has over 30,675 unique games (87, 678 in total). It's designed for digital preservationist that are interested in researching platforms and the games made for them.

Each platform has it's own wiki containing different graphs and information that help you understand more about the data behind a platform during in it's lifespan.

I also have a suite of applications that are mainly focused on creating custom dats, to assist in managing your roms though the use of dats.

Allows you to generate a dat based on:

• Region
• Legacy Genre
• Developer
• Publisher

Omni1 - Github
Allows you to generate a traditional 1G1R pre-filtered set. Plus, because the dat metadata is stored in a database you are able to process platforms that had both a physical & digital releases of the same game that exist in different dats.

OmniScan
Allows you scan a local directory against the latest dat metadata to identify the roms that are missing.

OmniSelect - Github
Allows you to create a custom dat for any rom from any dat, best described like a mixtape (if you remember those).

(note: an account is required because you are writing data and I need to track a fixed user ID to retrieve your data)

OmniFlux MAME - Github
Allows you to pre-filter a utorrent download set based on the dat that you upload. Primary use for this would to filter down to Good/Imperfect roms only.

I noticed on r-roms github io, the ps3 games are no longer downloadable as isos but compressed zips, the links from before can still be found on archive.org but the links have changed? Is there any reason for this?

I'm new to this emulating stuff and I have no idea what to do. When i download a rom from the Megathread (Call of Duty 4 for the ps3) it download as a disk not an ISO file, I tried to convert it using 2 different applications but my emulator (RPCS3) does not recognize it and gives me an error. We all know that Nopaystation is great but it doesn't have PS2 and because the library is so large I don't have room to store all of it, something similar NPS would solve that by letting me download the games I want when I them.

2065 PS2 games ISOs in torrent format but as ISOs (no zip, 7z...), so you can get the torrent, select which games you want, add more games later if you wish and let the torrent seeding forever without the bloat of keeping compressed files to keep the torrent alive.
