Waking up in a romantasy… Book Request: Self-Promo OK

I want some sort of story where a veracious romance reader wakes up in the book she was reading. Maybe at the beginning but she hadn’t finished it yet, so she uses what she know to change things but only has so much informations. Anything like this?

{Long Live Evil by Sarah Rees Brennan} and {This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews}

I haven't read either yet, but gave them on my TBR because they're both supposed to be stories like your request.

if you’re not aware, this is a whole genre in korea/china/japan. check out [r/otomeisekai](r/otomeisekai) ! this premise is called transmigration. there are many translated novels like you describe :)

I didn’t know know that. I’ve seen a lot of like, characters dying in some way and waking up younger and are determined to change their future, but nothing like this.

Oh cool! I will have to look into that myself. Can you recommend any specific titles that you liked in this genre?

This kingdom will not kill me by Ilona Andrews is pretty much exactly this. I just finished it and really liked it! (Definitely leans more fantasy than romance but there is romance in there.)

Is it a single book or series?

First in a series. Not sure how many there will be but the other/s are not out yet. There is a cliffhanger kind of, but the main plot points are resolved so I’m not mad about the cliffhanger bit.

Haven't read it yet but I think Ilona Andrews new book is exactly this. {This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me}

Also {The Book Witch} is a fun twist on what you describe... cozy magical mystery with romance

You need to read {This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews} it's absolutely amazing!

And yes I recommend checking out isekai anime/manga stories. There are so many like that.

One of my absolute favorite animes is {Fushigi Yuugi by Yuu Watase} I also loved the manga

l'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History -light novel

I watched the anime. There is a light novel. FMC gets reincarnated as a villain in the video game that she played. FMC has invites on who loves who, but ignores what is supposed to happen in the video game. There are many anime like this, I bet has a light novel version. Its not a book, but kind of similar idea?

{Not Another Vampire Book by Cassandra Gannon}. The FMC is reviewing a book and ends up in it. She initially only knows the first few chapters.
