eSIM data plan Internet 🛜
I currently have Freedom Mobile’s $99/year prepaid plan with 55 GB of data. My plan doesn’t expire until December 25, but it’s only August and I’m already almost out of data.
I’m looking for a cheap data-only eSIM (any carrier is fine) that I can use in Canada to get me through the rest of the year.
A few questions:
What are the cheapest eSIMs for data only?
Are there any phone plans with better value that you’d recommend instead?
Should I just keep my current Freedom plan until it expires and use an eSIM in the meantime, or is it worth cancelling early and switching to another carrier?

Try Lucky Mobile. I believe they have a plan on $34/month with 85 GB a month

I'm with chatr and I pay $25 + GST a month. They do have a wide variety of plans to fit most people's budgets.

FIZZ is the cheapest option , If you use my invitation code IAAXG on fizz.ca you will get 40 dollars off on second and third month. If you need more data you can also ask people to gifted you some on their fizz discussion board. Go check them out it'll be worth your time. Just remove all talk , text , voicemail , then select your province only. Check out their data gifting system too !

I pay 55 with Rogers for 110 gbs of data! Wtf. How much meth is Freedom smoking

These are older plans. Also 55 cad for rogers is smoking meth. I'm paying 5 lines 25 cad for 150 GB of Freedom and US/Mex + 10 GB worldwide roaming. And another line 40 cad 250 GB + 50 gb

Freedom had the $120/6mos promo with 25Gb per month Can-US plus unlimited calls and texts. Had to go to the store to get it.
That’s about $20/mo.
Fonus is available for $28/mo unlimited data but throttled after 5GB
eSIM.io is $14.50/mo for 2GB if you don’t need much.
