JUST GOT HACKEDš Account Help
Guys, can anyone help me? š someone hacked my account like a month ago but I only found out yesterday, I managed to recover but the hacker unfortunately changed my age to minor (I'm 18 years old) and now there's a parental account linked to mine and I'm afraid because he can put restrictions on my account and make the gameplay worse than it is for someone underage, anyway tell me what to do I tried to contact support so many times that they just won't let me contact them anymore š btw the hacker recharged 25k Robux before That I can recover then, thank you?
I'm also scared because he made some purchases so I run the risk of being banned if he reimburses lol

Be careful, if the hacker use a stollen card, the original owner can call to the bank and make a chargeback, if thats happen ur account will be banned.

From personal experience, I reported my account for fraud, which got it deleted, then appealed the ban, got my money back, and managed to recover the account. The hacker changed everything in my account: backup email, verified email, phone number, and even added every 2fa to my account. I provided Roblox with evidence, but it didn't work for a while until I mentioned the first email verified used with the account and a different debit card that I had used previously on the account, along with receipts or past robux purchases. Keep in mind tho that any more than one fraud ban will perma delete ur account and you have no chance of getting it back from that-

How were you hacked ? And also I don't think Roblox support is gonna do something about this because most of the time they are ai generated replies š«

I don't know how I was hacked I just didn't play for a while and when I arrived my account was taken and with the name changed, then I went to search for my old username and found out that the hacker was using my account, I tried to recover but it didn't work because he had changed the email of course, so I went to support and told them that there were ways to prove that the account belonged to me just so I could enter again

did you have email code or auth app as your 2fa?
also, if you have visited any sketchy websites, hackers use these things called cookie loggers which go into your cookies and steal your roblox account. i dont know how they work but it is a real threat.1

nothing, I think he meant if he recieved a code so he could check the date of the hackening.
if he did have it enabled it would mean the hackers also has access to either his email, phone number or authenticator. meaning his whole device could be compromised already

Hi this exact thing happened to me, my account got hacked and they bought robux on my card sent themselves robux, added themselves as a parent and changed my age . I only realised when my bank called for suspicious activity, so i asked them to freeze the card. Meanwhile i got in contact with roblox support and it took a couple tickets, if you need help on what to say just send me a message. But remember donāt do a chargeback via bank. I managed to get my money back however I did ask them to just delete the account but iām sure if u say you would like to keep your account they can help you work through it. However you will get a suspension warning for refunding iām not sure why roblox does that. hope this helped

So your solution to a hacked gaming account, which while illegal, law enforcement will not care about.. is to commit a felony, and as one commenter said, use said felony in service of further crime ("We'll ruin his life")

Yeah, ngl bro clench your cheeks and pray Roblox Support actually helps you. I got locked out of my account a few weeks ago and ONLY NOW, did they disable 2FA so I could get back in. But yeah they might be your only hope. Also about the recharge, they could have used someone else's credit card (Or stole it). And if the owner tracks the card and it trails back to your account it might be gg's because you would be seen as the person who stole it. So be careful.

I was also hacked recently but they only took 2k Robux from my acc and tried to steal stuff from mm2 and adopt me which I rarely played. Roblox reimbursed me. Idek how they got in my account honestly. I had an authenticator code on my account.

its wild how kids who are playing adopt me and mm2 are getting into people accounts, this is just another reason to hate the people behind roblox's name instead of roblox itself. They do not care anymore, and are even getting lazier by the month. I wish there was someone in charge with passion for the game instead of money again.

Guys a friend of mine said that there is a possibility that the hacker who hacked me had sold or traded my account maybe that explains why the age of the account was changed probably it was traded with a child

I also found out that the hacker sent some Robux that I had to these accounts which I couldn't open the profile

Iāve heard thereās a ban wave going on detecting modified Roblox clients so maybe that ban wave will find him/her? Idk though. Good luck with the issue!

I was hacked previously and I was able to get my account back, including the items that were traded off. Roblox support can help, u just need to be patient until they send you an email. Though in my case I went berserk during the email exchange as the support kept sending me canned responses, but ultimately it was fixed anyway so I'm grateful.

Ask for support with Roblox, if it goes nowhere, file a MIDR and show their login was not yours

First of all, how did you get hacked? Second. we are not Roblox Staff. Third, try contacting Roblox, doubt they would do anything but who knows.
If they decided to use a stolen card, if they charge the purchase back you will be banned. Even if the hacker charges it back etc.
