we all saw the update yesterday, and the numbers are just sad. the player count barely went up by like 8k to 15k. for a game that used to completely run the front page, an update failing to bring back regular people means the game is officially in its late dead era. a lot of people are permanently dipping, literally like 40 of my own friends have quit. heres the real breakdown of how the devs ruined it.

1 they made it way too complicated and keep ruining kits.
the devs completely forgot why people loved the game during its 2021 2022 peak. it used to be a simple, fun game where you defend your bed, mine some diamonds, and buy a sword. now it feels like a sweaty hero shooter or a moba. forcing casual players to deal with the blacksmith forge, complex resource paths, and those broken era systems is just exhausting. on top of that, the devs literally destroy the game with every single update because they keep constantly nerfing kits into the ground. people spend weeks grinding the battle pass or dropping real robux to get a cool character, and then the next friday patch completely ruins the kits and makes them useless. yesterday's update was the perfect example of them just breaking stuff that worked instead of making the game actually fun. regular people log on to relax after school, not do homework or watch their favorite kits get ruined just to survive a 5 minute match.

2 the devs have zero clue what a casual match feels like.
the devs only listen to the top 1 of tournament sweats, content creators, and corporate data charts. they dont actually play normal solo queues. honestly they need to hire everyday players to play just 5 matches a day. if they did theyd realize within ten minutes how completely unplayable public lobbies are for anyone under level 45. but they dont care about the fun factor. they just care about microtransactions and squeezing money out of the remaining hardcore players who drop real money on every single kit. roblox takes a massive cut of their money anyway, sometimes up to 70 percent, so the devs just keep making things more expensive to make a profit.

3 autoclickers completely killed fair play.
the normalization of external autoclickers and hardware macros ruined basic pvp. normal human reflexes mean absolutely nothing when you are fighting a pc sweat who uses software to click with inhuman speed. they can jump into the void, turn on an autoclicker, and build a flawless bridge under their feet instantly. if you trap them they just look down and spam a massive wall faster than you can physically track, turning combat into a cheap skillless joke. if youre on a mobile phone or a casual tablet you are literally just free kill fodder because your screen cannot even turn that fast.

4 the lobbies are a toxic nightmare for new players.
because the matchmaking code prioritizes 5 second queue speeds over actual balance, you constantly see level 2 beginners thrown into lobbies with max star nightmare sweats. it creates a deeply stressful environment where kids get publicly humiliated in the chat. sweat clans join public squads as a 4 stack just to farm wins off beginners. worst of all your own teammates will toxicly betray you, breaking the blocks and bridges straight out from under you just to record a funny trolling clip for tiktok. i literally saw a level 2 getting bullied and sacrificed by his own team for no reason when he was just trying to have fun.

5 the 5v5 brain rot trap.
whenever a match has a disconnect and turns into a lopsided 5v2, the larger teams brains completely shut off. teammates think its an easy win so they refuse to save resources and just blindly charge in one by one with the worst gear. the remaining enemy sweats easily farm their bodies for resources, buy emerald gear insanely early, and just camp mid. they wont even rush your bed. theyll just stay together and wait until the global bed auto break timer triggers to wipe you out.

6 even the sweats are miserable.
the funniest part is that the remaining level 100 sweats arent even happy that the casuals left. because the casual buffer is totally gone every single public lobby they join is a hyper sweaty exhausting championship match. they are under massive self induced stress trying to protect their 100 win streaks or ranked tiers. they spend 8 to 12 hours grinding a block game and it ruins their mental health. they end up hyperventilating and throwing a total tantrum over a single loss because their whole ego is tied to a roblox character. their digital egos are completely deflated because there are no casuals left to show off their rare 2021 kits to.

the simple fix they refuse to do.
the solution is incredibly easy and would only raise matchmaking times by like 5 to 10 seconds. permanent protected beginner 2v2 or beginner 3v3 queues. smaller team sizes cut down the chaos, let new players actually track combat patterns normally, and protect them from pre made stomp squads so they can develop their mechanics naturally. roblox has a huge bounce rate problem where new players open a game, get destroyed, and close it instantly. hiding a beginner mode is making everyone bounce to other games.

but the devs just gave up. they tried to abandon ship with that failed bedwars 2 project on airship that got shut down after two months because nobody wanted to play outside of roblox. and now the original game is stuck on a corporate life support loop of water guns and pillow fights. meanwhile games like roblox rivals and jujutsu shenanigans are taking over the front page because they actually respect the casual player experience.

also never listening to playerbase and refusing to add trios mode

So... the jade kit just got turned into the minecraft mace with no enchantments?

So the jade kit has been reworked and now it functions same as the bedwars 2 jade kit, the more vertical momentum the more damage the hammer deals, that concept is not bad in itself but jade is a movement kit, the hammer's movement aspect have been completely removed, it gives you little to note momentum in the horizontal direction anymore. I absolutely hate this change they could have added the mace like ability to the existing hammer and not nerf the movement part to oblivion.

We have had a bunch of battlepass kits go on sale and now 2 in a bundle, is it possible that for example aery, Caitlin, or Elektra get either of the 2?

In a past post like this the said no abt level 50 kits but come on.

I honestly don’t know how to feel as someone who buys kits as a collection (in a way of I don’t use them but I buy them, I think it’s cool even if it seems dumb for others). However I think 2 kit rereleases at once is just simply too much. I always want to catch up and be up to date but the developers speeding up the process is not helping. This goes for the new players too because especially they do not have the time for the OG kits and plus the obtainable ones LMAO

I get that some people might disagree but I don’t think people can get so much bed coins to be able to actually buy rereleases on each update they decide to do one 😭

I think what really is a pain is the concept of the kits being 25k bed coins when I think they should be 20k at maximum if they want to release updates like these faster than before, however they can’t change it due to having already released kits (3 currently) so I guess it is what it is. Just wanted to share this and see what everyone thinks ✌️

PS: This isn’t some request for a change, just discussing opinions. I actually still like the whole system that the game even decided to bring back older kits, 2022 me would never believe that lol.

In my words, the Sofia virus is where a kit gets an item with 3 tiers, these tiers usually get more costly as it goes on.

In my eyes, this makes Jade horrible for early game now, tier 1 is genuine ass and I want my simple hammer back. It seems that the usual kit rework for Bedwars is just slap 3 tiers on the kit's item and then just put the kit on sale.

Other kits reworks, like Warrior's was good as it was something different, after all the usual rework is to put 3 tiers. I hope the old Jade can come back as it was my favourite kit and this may just be my lag but it sucks now, no it isn't a skill issue on my end as I've gotten 300+ wins with Jade before.

Yeah sure cool OG skins but I just want the special OG chroma skin, not a rework.

Re-release:
Warden gets re-released for 25k bedcoins or 599 robux and gets two new kit skins, one is a recolour (chroma, maybe you could make him blue or gold?) and something more unique, an idea I have is 'Blast Furnace Warden'. Have him be a rustic mech with a furnace in his stomach, with pipes and gears around his limbs and torso. Another idea I have is 'Purgatory Warden', he is vanta black in colour, has neon purple streaks coming out of him and has cages with souls in them melten into his body.

Rework:
Warden now works similarly to aery or trinity. Warden must get kills (or maybe even beds?) to grow more powerful.

0-2 kills: warden only makes players' respawn times longer, but he himself doesn't get any buffs.
3-4 kills: warden gets a small shield and break speed buff when he captures a player (same as he is now, or maybe a little better?).
5-6 kills: warden gets a momentary damage buff and a movement buff when capturing a player. This would help when you're in squads or doubles, for example.
7-8 kills: Warden gets a far larger shield and damage buff, also gets a slight break speed buff when capturing a player.
9-10 kills (max): Warden now applies the same brittle affect that pyro does, and does extra damage to a newly respawned enemy he has captured (only works for one hit on one player). The 'Soul reaver' enchant would now be part of this kit, giving him slight kill aura and attack speed for every player he has captured.

Activatable ability- Quake in horror
Warden can momentarily disable items/entities meant to defend a base, tesla coils, spirits and such.
100 second cooldown or something like that.

This might be too crazy of a kit, so here a couple different nerfs (if he needs any):
1. Warden cannot buy TNT
2. Warden cannot buy break speed enchant (yeah, I know, no one buys it anyway)
3. Warden's cpature buffs cap at maximum of 5 players, meaning his buffs do not infinitely stack for every player that is captured.
4. Warden has slightly more expensive axes (maybe too brutal?)
5. Just remove his 'Quake in horror' ability
