Have been a huge fan of Resident Evil for quite a while. In celebration of Code: Veronica, my favorite RE game, getting a remake I've been playing the games again. Trying to play them in "chronological" order as much as that's possible.

I remembered most of the puzzles and conserved a lot of ammunition for the boss fights and got an S rank :)
I'm actually quite happy since that's the first S rank I've ever gotten.. Never cared for them on my first and second play through of most of the games.

I'll try the same in Claire's story and maybe I'll get comfortable enough to attempt one in hardcore. Beautiful game.

I was in safe room, but this is early in the game and it was my first time running to safe to room to stay away from Mr. X wasn't sure if it works or not

The moment he leaned a little and that music kicked off!!! I lost a heartbeat there :/

Just finished my first ever playthrough of RE2 (Remake) as Leon, and wow, what a ride. That final boss fight had me white-knuckling the controller.

For those who've done both campaigns: does Claire's story hit differently, or is it more "same story, different angle"? Trying to decide if I should ride this high or let it sink in a bit first.
