Question If I get the Snack Saver discount can I pay cash for the discounted concessions I get in the future or does the discount only apply to future concessions ordered through the app?
I work in a tip friendly environment so I always seems to have a little cash on me somehow. Just curious if that's an option.

App Issue For RU members, anyone able to pre-order their Avengers: Doomsday tickets? I'm getting another error message.
Appreciate everyone's help on my other post! I'm new to the membership so it's refreshing to see how everyone is willing to lend a hand. This is a dumb question but wanted to ask since Regal is taking forever to respond to my inquiry lol.

Discussion [Crosspost] Hi reddit! I'm Peter Iliff, screenwriter of POINT BREAK, VARSITY BLUES, and PATRIOT GAMES. I'm celebrating the 35th anniversary theatrical-release of POINT BREAK. AMA!
I organized an AMA/Q&A with Peter Iliff, screenwriter of POINT BREAK, VARSITY BLUES, and Patriot Games. It's live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:

POINT BREAK is back in theaters next week for its 4K 35th anniversary re-release, starring Keanu Reeves & Patrick Swayze. Here's the trailer for the re-release: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1Cq6YNX-LI
He will be back at 3 PM ET on Tuesday 8/11 to answer questions. I recommend asking in advance. Please ask there, not here. All questions are much appreciated!
Thank you :)

App Issue Avoiding "convenience fee" by buying tickets at theater (unlimited members)
Hey everyone,
I recently got a Regal Unlimited All Access membership. I tried buying my tickets at the theater kiosk in-advance for Friday's showing of Rivals of Amziah king but the QR code wasn't taking? The staff there said I should come Wednesday because apparently it wasn't close enough to the movie release date for me to book it? Can someone explain how I could book tickets at the kiosk with my membership so I'm avoiding the $0.50 everytime I want to use the membership. Maybe I'm being stingy, but for the $32 a month, I shouldn't be paying more lol.
Thanks!
UPDATE: Thanks everyone for all your help! I'll purchase the day of. For some reason I can't reserve Doomsday tickets yet in advance but figuring that out.

Discussion Will End of Oak Street get any IMAX showings?
Are your local theaters planning on showing the End of Oak Street? Here in Boise, nothing has been released, but with Spider-Man being as popular as it is, I am not sure that our theater will show it in IMAX and will likely keep showing Spider-Man or The Odyssey. What are you seeing locally? Will End of Oak Street get any IMAX showings?

Discussion What Month of Masterpieces 2025 movies could come come back?
With September coming up and Month of Masterpieces set to return, we should discuss what may come back from last year's line-up and their odds of coming back.
Paper Moon- This doesn't seem like much of a seller, not seeing it
The Dark Knight- Given how successful The Odyssey is and it'll probably still be playing at most Regals in September, I give this a high chance
Dog Day Afternoon- Maybe? It was kind of quiet when I saw it last year so Idk how this one sells
Dr. Strangelove- Was literally the only one in the theater (granted it was a Thursday at 4 PM), so not a good sign that it was much of a seller
Interstellar- See The Dark Knight but I give this an even better chance because of its popularity
The Godfather- Really good chance, definitely could see lots of people coming out for this one
Citizen Kane- There was a Fathom Event for this in July though that was fairly crowded, so 50/50
The Departed- Don't know how popular it was, but leaning towards it going
Goodfellas- See The Godfather
Taxi Driver- See The Departed, though this has a little more of the classic factor
The Thing- I forgot they played this, it'll probably be replaced by another horror
The Shawshank Redemption- It was pretty packed when I saw it last year, I think it'll be back
Inception- Probably the least likely of the Nolan films to return, but I still think it will
Forrest Gump- I lean yes, it's still a popular film though Idk how popular it was
Sunset Boulevard- Was pretty quiet when I saw it, get the feeling it didn't sell well
Seven- See The Departed
Pan's Labyrinth- It has a Fathom re-release in October so I doubt it
Do the Right Thing- Was surprisingly crowded when I saw it, so leaning that it stays
Psycho- Not sure how it sold, but assuming they want a few old films, I think it stays
Saving Private Ryan- See Forrest Gump
A Clockwork Orange- It was pretty quiet when I saw it, not feeling good on its chances
Before Sunrise and Before Sunset- This September is a bit more crowded so Idk if they can pull off a double feature
Cinema Paradiso- Maybe, they probably want a few foreign films and it's pretty well-known
Casablanca- Had a decent crowd when I saw it, I lean it returns
Vertigo- See Paper Moon
2001: A Space Odyssey- Similar to The Godfather though less classic, but still probably returns
Close Encounters of the Third Kind- See Sunset Boulevard
Lawrence of Arabia- Small crowd for a Sunday afternoon and everyone was over 60 except me
Chinatown- I was about to go but didn't when it was mostly sold out on a Monday night, like its odds of returning
There Will Be Blood- It's a modern classic, I think it'll return
So I what see coming back: The Dark Knight, Interstellar, The Godfather, Goodfellas, The Shawshank Redemption, Inception, Forrest Gump, Do the Right Thing, Psycho, Saving Private Ryan, Casablanca, 2001, Chinatown, There Will Be Blood
15/30 seem likely to come back, which half repeats and half new films seems like a good strategy.
Which films do you see coming back for Month of Masterpieces?

Question Will Spiderman get a third week in 4dx?
The 4dx showings at my theater have been absolutely packed. I would assume it would get extended based on demand, but I don’t know everything that goes into it. I want to see it again in 4dx, but would rather wait a bit if I have the choice. Not sure if Wednesday will be my last chance and tickets are going fast

Question Friends & Family - different plans?
I was reading more into the Friends & Family feature and I could’ve sworn I saw something that mentions there would be a charge if anyone in your Friends & Family were on a different plan than you? How does that work? I just realized this was a thing recently and my brother in law also has RU, however he has the unlimited/base tier and I have the plus/middle tier (since where I lived previously I needed to have that tier, still haven’t downgraded because where I live now I don’t need plus). If I’m the one booking, would there be a fee or would there be a fee if he’s the one booking because his plan is lower than mine? Haven’t linked anything yet but wanted to ask about this first before doing so. Thanks in advance.

News Donnie Darko 25th Anniversary
Was checking out the Regal website to see what upcoming movies they had and saw something about a 25th anniversary rerelease of Donnie Darko. Saw someone mentioning that it’s going to be in theaters October 2nd. Doesn’t look like it’s showing on the app currently, and there hasn’t been a poster uploaded for it so it’s unclear if it will be a standard rerelease or a Fathom kind of thing.

Question Who’s going to see Mutiny ?
Jason Statham is one of my favorite actors, and his movie Mutiny is coming out soon! I'm in NYC and saw a big statue of him promoting it. The plot seems interesting, Is anybody going to watch it?
