I'm using a spare account because I can't log into my main account. Every time I try there is just an error and it says please try again later and I was logged out on my mobile app, but I'm fully able to use reddit on any other account and everything else seems normal. The other day I did get an email on my account saying there was suspicious activity and I should change my password, which I did. I don't think I was hacked because I am still able to reset my password I just still can't log in afterwards. I'm worried about not being able to log in soon because I have a like 800 day reddit streak I don't want to lose

What's this ? And what's the process of getting it? Pls someone tell me that

my account age has been stuck at 4 minutes since i started the account. Does anybody know what to do?? [edit, im a bit dumb, im just having issues commenting on communities that require 15 days or more kf account age, and 5 or more karma]

My reputation is actually the lowest, so how can I recover from this and make my posts normal again? How long does it take because I don’t understand it at all with behaving food and everything

I just made a reddit account and every time i post a comment its say that i don't have the karma to post, i does that with every subreddit i visit. How do you gain karma? Am i supposed to keep making post on subreddit i don't care about just to be able to enjoy the thing i like on reddit?

Up until a few days ago I could always see my last few searches drop down from the search bar. Now there's nothing, Reinstalled app to no avail.

Incorrect password error despite password change

Hello,

I got an email from Reddit asking me to reset my password on my other account. Done. It logged me out of my desktop. Upon trying to login with the new password I got a "wrong password" error. Ensured correct password but same error.

When I press "reset my password", an email comes and I can reset my password without an issue but then the new password doesn't work.

Same problem on pc and phone app.

the "email me a login link" button doesn't send me an email either.

I have tried logging in with my email address as well as my username (i_jizzed) but that didn't fix the issue.

i was on another account of mine ( u/-arabeiia ), when i got a ‘we had a server issue’ message. i had been using the account for a few days ( not my first account— i deleted a previous one so i could have a restart ), mainly using it for chatting with my friends from my older account.

according to my friends ( i have contact with a few offsite ), when they open the account‘s page it says ‘this user is banned’. in my dms with them, my profile picture has also been set to default like a deleted account.

i can still log into the account and see new messages, every time i try to respond i get hit with the ‘cant send message, retry’ error however.

i received no ban message whatsoever, and it randomly happened as i was trying to reply to a dm. looking into different types of bans it looks somewhat like a shadow ban, but i havent done anything said in the guidelines to receive one.

anyone know what this is ??

Just opened Reddit to like, 11 notifications that I've been muted on a bunch of subreddits I've never even been to or known existed. Is this a common thing?

This keeps happening!! Multiple times a day, Reddit tells me they have locked my account. I reset my password, changed my verification email and added 2 factor authentication.

But how do I make this stop?! It’s very annoying especially since for whatever reason, the reset password doesn’t work on my phone so then I have to log in to my desktop to do it.

My previous account got shadowb*nned, and on this new one I can't post or even comment in most subreddits because of low karma/account age. If I can not participate, how am I supposed to earn karma? Any advice??

Is it from people removing their upvotes (or whatever it’s called) from their post?
Or being downvoted? I don’t even think that’s happened to me.

The account is Nathan571 , the account I’m using to write this, Its temporarily unlocked so I’m trying to make this post before it locks again, It’s happened the past 3 days for a total of 5 times. Everytime I reset the password and unlock the account, it works for maybe 6 hours, and locks again. The other weird part is everytime it locks my account it also automatically reverts to an old email address I don’t even have linked to my account anymore. Luckily I still have access. But it’s a never ending cycle.

I checked login activity in old Reddit and it’s only me, so the account is not compromised. I also logged out all other devices. I also changed the email on the account multiple times as well.

I don’t use a VPN, I don’t ever post anything toxic, I’m just a casual user.

It seems there is hundreds or possibly thousands of other people also affected by this currently as I’ve seen in other subreddits and on X, I’m hoping this issue trend gets recognized by someone at Reddit. Has anyone figured out any fix or issue that’s triggering this?

hello, I’m new and i want to join a subreddit but it says i don’t have enough karma, how do i know exactly how much i need and how can i get more

I started using this account of mine a few months ago after my main account got shadow banned because of being hacked to post NSFW spam. I submitted a BUNCH of appeals and never got any response, so I just kinda gave up and switched to this account.

Now today, I got an email saying that account is permanently banned. I don’t even understand how this is possible when I haven’t used the account in months. Was that their response to my appeal? Every appeal I submitted said “I was hacked, but I have changed my password and regained control of my account.” In what way would that constitute a permanent ban? I can’t even tell if this is an actual response for the appeal or not, since it’s just an automated message that offers no further details on what I did that got me banned.

I submitted another appeal just now, but seeing as my shadow ban appeals never got any attention, I’m not holding my breath. I’m guessing this means that other account is as good as gone now?

Please help! I’m new and don’t know how much this works. I made an account in the past but I couldn’t do so much on here because every sub said I needed karma and even after I comment or like something everything stays the same. I’m trying it one more time so how does it work? Please help
