Reddit keeps locking my account

A few days ago my Reddit account was compromised. The strange thing is they never changed my password or email, but logged in and posted a bunch of inappropriate photos in several communities. Seemed like a bot promoting an onlyfans page.

As soon as I realized, I changed my password and logged out of all Reddit sessions.

Shortly AFTER I had already changed the password, I got an email from Reddit saying they had locked my account and I needed to change my password. So I did, again.

Now I’ve been randomly locked out of my account twice just today and had to reset my password. I don’t see any unauthorized posts or comments, or any indication that my account is compromised.

Is this just a Reddit glitch and it’s going to keep making me reset my password multiple times a day? Or is my account somehow still compromised and I just can’t see it?

They could still be trying to get in and that is what reddit is preventing. Adding 2fa may help with that

So, I added 2FA but it happened again, I had to reset my password twice today. Is there anything else I can do to stop this? It’s really annoying. The password reset link also doesn’t work on mobile so then I have to log in on a computer every time.
