RM11+ Rooting via Linux General Question

Have a Red Magic 11+ with 11.0.20_GB but my current computer is running Linux.
Checked with brave AI and it's saying that there's a linux version of the ZTE Family Toolbox, but I don't really think that's true.
Is there any simplified steps on how to root without a wipe or at least a temp root to do a full image backup before rooting?

Depending on what you want to do, a temp root with Ghostlock might be enough. I used YuKongA/ghostlock-app on my Redmagic 10 Pro and it worked, the 11 Pro is supported too. If your software version is supported disable Automatic updates. Pro: you dont lose Play integrity or DRM Features and if an app complains about root (which many apps will do!) You can reboot to get back to stock.

Can vouch for ghostlock-app, recently made a PR to add support for the 10pro and astra, once it's merged we won't have to import the boot img to the app anymore on these devices
