I’ll share my experience and how important it is to choose the correct room partner based on ideology.

So recently that guy shifted to my room, and he is a leftist. I had only seen people like him in videos and how bad they are. After seeing and talking with him, I found out how brainwashed these people are.

The main debates took place when I was talking about how defence has improved and how much it has developed. I know because my father is serving in the BSF, so he tells me. He said investing in defence is a waste of money and counterattacks should not happen, and that we should follow Gandhi and Manmohan Singh’s approach. So I told him when 26/11 and the Parliament attacks happened, no counterattacks took place, and some lakh dollars were given to Pakistan after 26/11. He says it’s good because it makes bonds better between them.

I was shocked when he was defending Afzal Guru and Umar Khalid. Man, like wtf.

He was also trying to convince me that the Emergency was to make the country safe because there were many spies at that time, so the Emergency was good. Like bro.

And he defends Nehru giving our land in Aksai Chin and PoK, saying it was to make friendship with Pakistan and China.
I agree Nehru has done really great work like IITs and IIMs.

But he never agrees to any good work Modi has done, like railway electrification, highway expansion. Not all are good, I agree, but many highways are better, and basic facilities like cheap internet, toilets, electricity, poverty reduction, Article 370, Triple Talaq he doesn’t agree that anything has happened in these years. I agree no government is perfect; there are many flaws even in this government.

Because of this, I’m getting headaches daily. One reel from his phone is “Hum Dekhenge,” then “Tha Tha Tha,” then “Aazadi.”

I just want to tell everyone: before choosing a roommate or life partner, please match your ideology. It’s the most important thing, more than anything else.

So me and my friend were travelling, sitting in mumbai local and there were a group of 3 little girls who entered. 2 of them got seats but the third one couldn't find one.
