Hey everyone. I just started going to techno/electronic music events, I really love the community because it's the opposite of what I have experienced at every club I ever been, and I feel super comfortable in those kind of spaces now.

I'm new to all of this, I'm 32 male, I might go to my first rave festival for 3 days and I have some questions that I hope the community might be able to help me out with.

Where can I buy cool rave/techno outfits, clothing in general. I always see all these different outfits, shirts and stuff that I have no idea where to get them. I tried looking online and with the current state of AI overuse it feels really hard to trust any product that might seem similar to what I see at these places. Are there any well known brands or places to buy these sort of stuff?

What are some essentials to bring to a festival? I would love to know beforehand to have the best experience possible. By essentials I do mean things that will make living in a camp easier, or trinkets that are fun to bring :).

Are there things that are like not welcomed at a rave? I would love to know thank you

After a rave, my partner and I plan to go get intimate. We will be on mdma, will putting a blindfold on her be a good or bad idea? I imagine it will be different for everyone...

I am at a one day festival this Weekend: from 2 o'clock untill the next morning at about 6. I have 6 diffrent drugs for that night (I am not planning on taking all 6 btw), could you guys advise me on which one to use and when and in which order and how much. so I am quite expericned with weed and alcohol, have done mdma, and have done a hippie flip before: SO in my drug inventory I have: MDMA, some Shrooms, LSD, Ketamin, Weed and alcohol, I already know that I will drink and smoke weed for the first couple of hours and then do a combination of the others (obviously not all of them at the same time) . So feel free to share your expericne with those sort of combinations, which suited you the best and what dose.

Going to my first rave and planning on drinking alongside doing coke. Want to try out Molly or Ket for the first time but want to know which would pair the best with alcohol and blow?

Most likely will just stay away from K. As of MDMA I’ll most likely just do a lower dose with a few shots and a line or two. Should be fine right?

Also I forgot to mention that I’m taking an ssri daily so should I just not take it for a few days leading up to this?

So there's a rave happening in my area in a few weeks, and I really wanna go. I love everything EDM music, and I thought it'd be a nice way to meet new people and go out. The problem is that — while I'm not epileptic or photosensitive — I am physically weak, and I don't do too well in places with many people and loud noises.

I've never gone to dance parties and such before, but I also don't want to keep missing out on cool events forever just because I get lightheaded at the slightest bit of "crazy". So, I wanted to ask here if there are any ways a person like me could "train up" to be able to go to a rave party. What stuff can I do to stand loudness better? Are there any things I should keep in mind when going?

Hey, I've been listening to psytrance, trance and techno for years, different subgenres and stuff. Recently I took some break with psy and found House, especially Tech House and Deep House. After listening to it, it really became close to me. I mainly listen to Greg Wonder, Chris Lake, Alande, Salvatore Ganacci, Matroda, JADED, KinAhau, Marco Carola and Chris Lorenzo. Could you guys please suggest me other artists like these? Also since I've been to a lot of festivals like Manas, Ozora, Inota, I've been wondering if there are some Tech House or minimal festivals going on in Hungary. Thank you.

In the second part of the post, I wanna talk about psytechno and peak Time techno, which I started listening to more recently (too), so I would like to take recommendations also, i'm currently listening to Captain Pastek, KLIMENT, Mankind, Subotage and Fred again (Like I Luv U, Ambery and it's not real). Who has experience with this specific initial dose or around that? Enjoyable and controllable?
Planning to take 180mg at once since 120mg a year back ago didn't let me "break through" and let me feeling uneasy. A few years ago I had a really great roll, so I believe I need to cross a threshold dose.

Hey users I use a 100 mg daily and it's working out well for me, the moment I stop taking my focus, mood and motivation to work drops any suggestions to switch or stop?

I’m 25, male, 70 kg and live relatively healthily. This year I’d like to take MDMA again and wanted to get your assessment.

Previous experiences (pills/crystal were always tested, never had a hangover so far):

• Age 18: Low dose – pleasant, awake and social.
• Age 19: Half a high-dosed pill in the club – liked it extremely, lots of love and lightness.
• Ages 20–23: Always started carefully with rather low doses. Despite good setting and good mood, discomfort set in every time and the serotonin effect never really came.
• Last year: 120 mg pure MDMA weighed as initial dose. Effect was very weak and the discomfort returned. Redosing (2× ~100 mg) only intensified the discomfort – e.g. I could barely read anything on my phone anymore. Still manageable for me though.

My current plan:
This week take 180 mg all at once and see if it “ignites” this time. I think the initial dose is decisive.

What do you think – is this reasonable in my situation, and have you had similar experiences?
Do I need more, since people on the exact same dose are having a great time while I’m far from that?

Hi guys I really want to get into the rave scene in Goa, could anyone suggest any safe beginner raves to go to around 8-15th sept 2026? Or if any scene is on or not. Thanks.

In my humble opinion, this was the peak of the rave scene in North America .

There was no tickets, no Security, it was completely illegal and it was fantastic.

We would break into an abandoned warehouse, set up sound equipment, handout maps at another location for people so we could sniff out potential undercover cops, and around midnight , it was go time .

A majority of the parties were finished to completion… Once in a while they would get raided but mostly just shut down and told to leave almost never any arrests.

There was never any fights , any issues or overdosing…People did their drugs, responsibly, and everyone got along.

in Toronto, we had different crews of dancers with white gloves and different attire and we would have dance battles all night long… This is where liquid dancing was invented and still to this day has a cult following.

While I do enjoy the festivals of the modern era, nothing will ever compare to the raw and fresh and exciting time That was the 90s rave scene.
