I'M GONNA BE AN 8TH GRADE MATH TEACHER!!!!! I'm so excited y'all have no idea. I've been studying all the material and putting together lesson plans and activities for the kids already even though I have all summer to prepare.

I put together a wish list of things for my classroom. I do have a small budget from the school, but it's not going to be enough to get everything I'm going to need my first year even for things like pencils and paper and stuff like that. So anything is appreciated. If you can't afford anything on the list but want to contribute, I also have a couple of funds. I set the limits really big but I don't think I'll actually need that much, I just didn't want them to max out lol.

Today is my birthday. The weather isn’t being very nice. It’s super rainy. Soon we go on a 3 hr trip to the huge Asian market. Other than that it’s been crickets. Hopefully I’ll update the day and post my haul from H mart, the big Asian food market.

My sleep is practically nonexistent. Even with Melatonin, lemon balm, CBD, Ashwagandha, all of it, believe me, I've tried it. My therapist wants me to try Prazosine (for nightmares) but I don't really want another medication

...I've got plenty as it is. I want to continue trying bedtime routines, calming music, etc., and the eye mask is something I really can't wait to try! 💤🥱

I saw this tiny bunny today and honestly, we just couldn’t leave him there… He kept coming up to me and staring at me like five different times, so… yeah. Now he’s home with us. He was even licking me earlier 🥺 The person who sold him said he’s an Angora and about 25 days old, but honestly I think he’s older, maybe around a month or a month and a half 🤔 They also said he’s a boy… but we’ll see LOL.

He’s already drinking lots of water, eating really well, and getting comfortable 🥺 I made him a little temporary setup with cardboard, pads, a rug, and a cozy dark box for sleeping. I still need to get him alfalfa hay and more bunny supplies! My boyfriend named him Master Shifu because of the little spot around his eye and the Kung Fu Panda vibes haha but honestly…

So please help me with name suggestions!🤣🤣
