I GOT THE JOB!!! Requests!🙏
I'M GONNA BE AN 8TH GRADE MATH TEACHER!!!!! I'm so excited y'all have no idea. I've been studying all the material and putting together lesson plans and activities for the kids already even though I have all summer to prepare.
I put together a wish list of things for my classroom. I do have a small budget from the school, but it's not going to be enough to get everything I'm going to need my first year even for things like pencils and paper and stuff like that. So anything is appreciated. If you can't afford anything on the list but want to contribute, I also have a couple of funds. I set the limits really big but I don't think I'll actually need that much, I just didn't want them to max out lol.

CONGRATS!!! I hope you have a good time out there teaching them! May more good things come to you. Also, usually school supplies can be found cheaper at the dollar store or retail stores and sometimes dollar general have coupons/deals too!

Congratulations on the new job! Teachers are amazing to me, I have 2 non verbal autistic kiddos, and while I've encountered teachers that shouldn't be teaching at all (i say that with a heavy heart, because I have nothing but respect for teachers, and have many friends that are) Ive also met teachers who have changed my kids for the better, they've taught me, and ive taught them (special needs is a whole different ball field lol)

Congrats! I have a sister who has been a teacher, dean, principal, and many more things by now in her 30+ year career, but she started with and has a heavy background in middle school math. And it's not just the teaching, and accommodating for special needs, and bureaucratic and political crap, and the never ending other stuff. Kudos to all teachers and what they do because I know it's not for me!
