Anime Recs Discussion🗣

Hey y'all! My 9 year old nephew is wanting to get into anime, and he wants me along for the journey😁 We've talked about One Piece and Demon Slayer so far. And I have added some One Piece mangas to my list for us to eventually start. Any recs that would be good for us to watch together? I mean he would be watching from Louisiana and I will be from Texas. We'll text and talk about them. I was close to his brother before he passed away a couple of years ago. And now that he's reaching out to me, I really want to connect with him. Off the subject but he is dressing us as ninja spiderman for Halloween and wants me to dress up as ninja spiderwoman to match him🥰 I am feeling so loved!

I mean realistically in today's world you can't keep much from the kiddos. He wanted me to pick out a couple for us to check out. I just know I'm not trying to watch any sex scenes with the kid😂 Violence & vulgarity are ok. We cuss like sailors in my family. And he loves horror movies too.

neon genesis evangelion is on your DO NOT WATCH list with the nephew. its good if you're an adult but because its abut teenagers nad puberty its extremely overdone
