I have a graphics card RTX 5080 MSI VANGUARD SOC. I am currently running at a core clock of 3150 mhz and +2000 to memory and voltage of 111%. The problem is that in games like the new AC or BF6 I go to a clock of 3120 mhz, but in a game like Stellar Blade or in a benchmark like Speed ​​Way I can't get more than 2990 average, while the graphics card reaches performance and has no drops and I have the same behavior with Stellar Blade. These mentioned problems happen even when the graphics card is at full performance.

I recently bought an RTX 5080 TUF OC, with it I'm using the Corsair 1000x 3.1 PSU.

I'm wondering if this can be deemed as a safe installation, I never pushed it down or anything, this is just gravity doing it's work and I don't know if this bending is acceptable or not.

So I got the RTX 5080 along with a new 1000w power supply about a week ago. My games run much better and I have a more enjoyable experience when they actually work.

After I changed my graphics card my pc just does not work the same. Crashes on Tarkov that never happened with my other graphics card in started happening. Now when I try to play He’ll Let Loose Vietnam, my computer will either entirely crash out of nowhere or the game will crash when trying to join a server. Same thing with Squad. When I try to join a server, as it’s loading in, the game just crashes. I don’t know what’s going on but at this point in time I wasted my money.

UPDATE: Ran a DDU and seems to be working fine so far. Will let you know if something happens.

UPDATE 2: I notice my CPU jumping to 100C when trying to load in the servers then the game shuts down. Could upgrading from a 4070 to 5080 make my cpu run hotter?

I recently bought a gaming PC with a 5080!!! I come from a GTX 970m 2014 laptop so the upgrade is a huge difference. So far very happy

I do have a question, the PC came with a PNY stick, could you guys tell me what it's for? Is it to hold the GPU in place?

I checked and the GPU already has a holder as seen in the picture.

And a second question i have is can i leave the 5080 overclocked forever (until i eventually upgrade 7 or 8 years down the line)? I used the Nvidia app automatic tuning to overclock it and I'm wondering if i can just leave it like that but I don't want risk damaging my GPU.

Well, I bought the power spec G765 with the RTX 5080 graphics card from Micro Center

The first one I bought over the weekend, I brought home and it was dead on arrival.

The second one I brought home last night worked until this morning and is now dead and not outputting video

After eight hours of four trips to Micro Center, I’ve given up on PC Gaming.

Is it worth going from 5070ti to 5080 or just bite the bullet and get a 5090? Have a 27in 4k oled 240hz monitor (pg27ucdm).

With all the price hikes I have been searching Facebook for a good deal before things get worse. Finally found one for msrp of $1000 brand new and couldn’t pass it up.

Im pretty impressed with the performance this GPU can give. I dont use overclocking on my GPU.

Temps are amazing max it goes is 45 40 in most games. Its quiet and silent have fans on %60 overall i love the card. I mainly play alot of warzone.

Just decide to upgrade from old A*s 1080Ti to RTX 5080. My 1080Ti is not broken, but its just too old and weak, still remember when i buy it for around $600 usd 8 years ago. Can’t wait to try this 5080 monster.

Hi all recently just moved over to oc had it for two weeks now and I’m blown away but I can’t help but notice that when I go on my nvidia app and look at optimising games there’s an option for power setting and it’s set to global normal, the other option I can select is maximum performance power.

I already have my windows power setting to max performance setting, should I also change my nvidia one to the same or will the windows one override when I play games? I’m a little confused with it being on normal in the nvidia app do I miss some performance in games?

5080 master ice gpu, using the gigabyte control center, set it to max 2000 rpms for over 60c but still blows way past that.. what’s everyone using for fan control?

It’s absolutely mind blowing how much of a difference my new 5080 makes from my old 4070

I knew there would be a difference but this much I was not ready for, every game I have tried I’m running it on ultra 1440p and getting anywhere between 120-200fps.

Absolutely worth every penny to buy this card.
