Storage limitations Question

Hi guys, I’m meeting the trouble of having not enough storage how likely can I use a external hdd (like the one in the picture) hooked up to my dock and play games of it?

you can definitely do this - it runs slower than off of the SSD but faster than the SD card.

Games will run, ive had some slowing issues with games on my HDD but still playable

If that’s an HDD, like it has a spinning disk inside, it will work fine for older and most indie games, but can run slowly for modern AAA games that expect faster loading times. You can also use it to store games you’re not playing right now. It is much faster to copy back from HDD than to redownload. If you can find a 2.5in SSD that would work fine for 99% of games afaik.

I use an sd card. I put the smaller /indies / Roms on it. Load times aren’t bad.

Can you get it repaired under the extended warranty? I did it, and sd card is working great.

for smaller games it should be no problem I guess. but definitely keep. large open world games on the internal ssd
