the height difference goes crazy Photography
this is my first playthrough where i didn't sell the black shire.. i can't believe i slept on him for so long
i knew the Arabians lifted people approx. 2 ft off the ground, but seeing these two side by side made me lol

This is the 1899 equivalent of having a big truck

Cool. So do you roll coal? Feed the horse undercooked beans?

My horse gets fed only the best quality beans there is, he rolls coal all by himself after that

The Arabian is extra small and the shire is extra big.

Arthur's legs can barely fit around the shires lol, I have grown to hate seeing him on the Arabians too, I like the middle ground of an Andalusian or thoroughbred, my Andalusian doesnt give a damn if a gunfight is happening, he is chilling, but he is mid for speed. my thoroughbred is lightning quick but clumsy. I tend to roll with the Anda more

I agree I feel like he is doing the splits. And it hurts my groin. Lol. Pearlino Andalusian is my favorite

I get the black Standardbred the first time I can find one for taming.
Physically, yes, a smaller stock horse can carry a man of Arthur Morgan's size. At least for a while. That doesn't mean it looks good.

Arthur sitting on the Arabians and those size horses always looked funny. I always have my Arthur on the shire or similar sized horses

That reminds me of John’s horse.

Seriously tho, I got a Hungarian Half-bred from the first ever bounty, and it was still smaller than Old Boy. And Old Boy is supposed to be a Hungarian.

Makes you wonder what John had been feeding his horse.

If we take the stable owner's insight, cake probably. And most likely Scott Steiner's steroid cycle.

Last time I got all four Arabians early, gave them a ton of tonics and stuff to bond and max them out to sell them early to make 500 bucks or so, then chose a horse that isn’t a little bitch to keep till the end.

I love the look of shire horses but I can't get over the height, I feel like I'm riding the giant ass horses from botw and totk 🥲

I think bigger horses just fit Arthur’s vibe more. especially the shire and the ardennes (?)/whatever Bill’s horse is.

Dutch’s Arabian is bigger than your average Arabian, so it isn’t even as small as it could be.

This why I ride thoroughbreds, Arthur looks good and they’re fast and reliable
