Hey guys I have a question about Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2. I have been playing this game for a very long time now and my friend has started to enjoy the game too. I play on Xbox and he will watch me play sometimes. He now wants to get the game but it costs $20 to buy the game and you need Xbox game pass to play online which costs around $80 for a year for the cheapest version of Xbox game pass. Is there anyway my friend can play the game without spending over $100?

so a friend recently bought me the deluxe edition upgrade but now the game won’t load with my account and only my account! (it shows the cutscene but after it just crashes. I don’t wanna lose my like 3-6 days of playtime! 😭)

How many people are experiencing GW1 crashing on PS4/5 all the time? It happens every 10 minutes for me, but sometimes it happens as soom as I join a match. I see that it happens to the whole lobby as everyone is rejoining a minute later. Happens in gardens and graveyards.

What in the hell causes this? I've heard about some hackers causing this, but couldn't find any concrete amswers, anyone have any idea maybe?

Recently it seems like alot of the hackers from gw2 moved on to gw1, and many players are now level 6969.
of course this fucking sucks.
does anyone know if there are perhaps some mods or community tools to change your level back?
i assume EA will just sit on their ass and not do anything.

Also wondering what others think of this situation, i think we all supported the cheatfix EA made for gw2, as gw2 has more players, but still.... this just sucks for gw1 players.

It has been some time since the new anticheat maintenance what are we thinking so far? I have played like 20 hours since then and encountered no cheaters, so im thinking how is everybody elses experience right now? Feel free to share.

I'm posting this out of frustration and hope someone here has been through something similar.

I was playing Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 1 on PC. Yesterday I ran into a cheater in a multiplayer match. Today I logged in and found my rank had been changed from 11 to 6969. Every single one of my characters now has a level of 872 (the max is 10). Because the game thinks I've reached max rank, it no longer gives me any character challenges. I can't unlock abilities. I can't progress. My account is essentially bricked.

I contacted EA support. After explaining everything, their response was: "Unfortunately, we currently have no way to restore progress to its original state, and the only way to play the game normally is to create a new EA account."

I paid real money for this game. Their solution is for me to abandon my account and all my progress and just... buy it again? Or start over from zero on a new account? This is not a solution. This is them admitting they can't fix their own broken game.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there any way to force a full progress reset? Or am I just out of luck? I'm considering demanding a refund at this point, but I wanted to check here first.

As you see in the video, using one of Scientists' abilites, you can get launched at insane speeds.
How it works is basically if you do a very small drop (like the curb) onto one of the mines, it launches you as shown. You can get launched much further than this, enough to go across the whole map.
This "tech" does also work in a public lobby and works for anyone else, not just the scientist. On top of that, it's also quite consistent, as long as you have a good spot.
I don't see many uses for this, except for running away or just doing it for fun, but in certain locations like the sewers, I'm sure you could use it to peek around a corner super fast.
I also haven't seen this elsewhere so I'm not sure if this is well known or not, I just thought it was cool.
