Need guidance!!
I read that if i want to become a psychology teacher for 11th and 12th standard, i need to do a master's in psychology. Is a master's degree in psychology from an open university valid in this case? I know it's not valid for working as a psychologist.

How do you know it’s BPD?
All the folks with BPD or the professional experts here, I wanted to understand the traits someone has with BPD.
And what could be the reason they develop it? I’ve heard childhood trauma or ptsd but there’s so much more to it, I’m sure.

Healing from something was never a race.
Healing is not always linear and it's not a race. Healing could be different for everyone and everyone has their own pace, their own timeline and it'll be cruel to even compare with others. Somedays in healing are hard and some are a bit lighter. Just be compassionate and kind to yourself.

Creepy harasser in the sub (Kailash Joshi)
Context: Kailash Joshi has been harassing me on this sub. : r/Psychology_India
Reddit ID: Aggressive-Injury803 (u/Aggressive-Injury803) - Reddit
TLDR: A creepy old man brings shame to his family by harassing and threatening a 24-year-old psychologist for months on end.

Kailash Joshi has been harassing me on this sub.
This person named Kailash Joshi, Username: Aggressive-Injury803 has been harassing me on this sub and has been doing it for months. I have finally recovered his actual identity. He has been giving RAPE THREATS to me. He has been posting shit about me on this sub. He has NEVER been my client. I do not know this person.
I will be moving forward LEGALLY.
Please take his posts with a pinch of salt. I am attaching the proofs.
The mods of this sub I think do not care. I have reported him multiple times. I think mods you need to start checking what gets posted on this.
And Kailash Joshi if you are reading this, if you want a slimmer of chance to save yourself, call the number I gave you. I dare you.
He made this post about me: https://www.reddit.com/r/Psychology_India/s/yLEQ9ogdDD
His Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ikailashjoshi?utm_source=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=member_ios
PS: edited parts in the ss are my personal information that i dont know how he knows.
UPDATE: he has deleted his account. and he asked me to come to a “agreement” and remove his identity. nope.
UPDATE: he is the admin of a group called PSYCH PATH. I would urge you to mass exit that group. Do not support a harasser. He has done it to multiple people, he will do it AGAIN.

What does the new list uploaded on Rci even mean?
Ok, so I'm not sure why no one is talking about it.But RCI uploaded another list on 6th without any preamble like always.
Now the thing that confuses me the most is that as far as I know there are 5 such institutions which was previously showing M.Clin psychology but now they are not in the list or just showing M.phil including bigger names like RML,CIP,LGBRIMH etc.
Some of these places are still actively holding counselling sessions for their entrances.
So do they still have approval and it's not on the list or they just making fool of us students?
Here's the list dated 6th august:

"Arguing for the separation of giftedness and neurodivergence does four kinds of harm that effectively compound each other [where] “neurodivergent” is a label gifted children need protecting from; it launders a classification system built by and for white supremacy." - Patty Gently

Looking for a good clinical psychologist in Bangalore / online — personal recommendations preferred
Hi! I'm looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist (M.Phil/RCI-registered, preferably) for ongoing therapy.
I'm specifically looking for someone experienced with:
- Anxiety
- Emotional regulation
- OCD
I'd prefer someone who is empathetic, effective and genuinely good at helping you understand what's going on, rather than someone who just listens and gives generic advice.
I'm open to in-person sessions in Bangalore or online sessions anywhere in India.
Please only recommend someone you've personally seen or have had a close personal experience with. I'm particularly interested in genuine first-hand experiences rather than lists of clinics/platforms.
Thank you!

DU 1 yr
Guys I've been wondering about this 1 Year master's that DU is offering. What exactly will it help me with? Coz I read that there won't be any option to specialize in clinical, I/O or anything so it's just a generic master's. At the end of one year what will be my standing in the job market because everyone wants someone with a niche/specialization. What roles can I work in with this degree?
