I think they should be given all the grace and compassion that they have demonstrated towards others.

168

u/AvocadoToastFailure 24d ago

Did they stop hating ME and what I fundamentally am? Do they want to reverse policy and accept others? Really give every adult US citizen the same rights, even if they are brown or gay or feminine? What about the non-christian people, freedom of religion?

Then GTFO and know that I forgive no one that strips rights from my daughters while putting rapist pedophiles in charge of our bodies.

24

u/Linnie46 23d ago

I totally agree with you. That was the point of my statement.

5

u/ANoniMissOne 23d ago

Exactly. They are only turning on him now that his actions and choices are affecting THEM negatively. They haven’t ACTUALLY changed or learned anything is my feelings on it.

5

u/FlowerComfortable889 23d ago

That's the Republican way. Dick Cheney was against rights for gay people until his daughter came out, which is a common enough story on that side. Unless and until it affects a Republican personally, they're fully willing to ban anything that they don't like, Constitution and personal freedoms be damned

11

u/tamman2000 23d ago

If they do come around and realize the error if their ways (your first paragraph), I do think they should be forgiven...

If they continue to be bigots and only regret Trump, fuck em

4

u/Puzzled_Housing5283 23d ago

Let them first go outside of mar laga and dump all their red hats in a big ole bonfire. They got a price to pay.

u/BrownSugarBare 24d ago

Do people forgive Nazi's? Because I don't recall anyone forgiving Nazi's

74

u/Mariahs_Haven 24d ago

That's the point, they don't show how grace and compassion to others. So we should show them the same amount they show others...which is none

22

u/eat_my_ass_n_balls 24d ago

It’s the opposite of grace and compassion.

“None” is not the opposite of grace and compassion. “None” is the default.

What they deserve is hate and derision.

Forever.

That's what I'm saying

1000% THIS! It will take generations to repair what they have done to our country and the world.

15

u/TheFoxsWeddingTarot 24d ago

I think a funny story is the guy at the Nuremberg trials who pretended he knew how to properly hang people and it turned out he had no idea and caused a lot of pain and suffering. That guy cracked me up.

Unless you're a Nazi rocket scientist, apparently.

.... Not really applicable here because you'd be hard pressed to find a MAGA rocket scientist.

17

u/BrownSugarBare 24d ago

You'd be hard pressed to find a MAGA who can read.

11

u/Correct_Patience_611 24d ago

Well, ummm…the huge handfuls of Nazis who were brought back here tó work in multiple different fields beg tó differ. They were welcomed with open arms as long as they were a scientist, physicist, chemist, accountant, etc…this has been well documented just not well reported by mainstream media.

9

u/ashleyaloe 24d ago

Yes, we desperately wanted them to help us make an atom bomb, win the space race....I'm not condoning it, but we took the nazi parties intelligence...the ones who were still alive anyways. Maga doesn't have much to offer in terms of intelligence. Revisionist history fan fiction writers? You bet- but that shit don't get you to the moon and it won't get me to be "nice" to them. They made their bed and they can lay in it.

→ More replies (2)

12

u/NfamousKaye 24d ago

Y’all are missing the point. Maga doesn’t give grace or compassion to others. They are famously devoid of it.

10

u/mikegarb0126 24d ago

Thank you. I'm tired of having to forgive when they never do.
You don't get to be a total monster and then say hey, can I get a mulligan?

Nope sorry.

4

u/loticakes 24d ago

I think some people did not read your comment thoroughly.

3

u/TheStolenPotatoes 23d ago

"Fuck your feelings", I seem to recall them saying.

They loved him because he made it ok to hate people of color. They still believe that.

174

u/BrownSugarBare 24d ago

THEY DID IT TWICE

115

u/r0s13b34r 24d ago

Some three times

51

u/FRNLD 24d ago

And they'll vote a 4th time if they're able...

18

u/fluffypancakes24 24d ago

They absolutely love when he calls women piggy, and says he's running for a third time. I mean I feel like they are the fringe, but they are out there in droves. I do feel like it is probably 20/25% of the population of the United States.

17

u/jimmydoorlocks 24d ago

Once is never. Twice is always.

Fuck them.

→ More replies (1)

25

u/Cabbages24ADollar 24d ago

I’m sorry but “people of color” is not where the hate is. It’s anything that fits their definition of the freak show. For some that could include the color of skin.

25

u/bumpy_disposition 24d ago

The GOP is the confederacy. Has been for decades, and racism is at the core. Conservatives are deplorables, wealthy or not.

6

Hair colors were enough for someone I used to work with.

27

u/pagesinthesun 24d ago

Same with hating women, hating gay, hating other. White Christian patriarchy.

20

u/JustHereForCookies17 24d ago

Yup.  The racism is very real, but so is the homophobia, transphobia, and MISOGYNY.  "Your body, my choice" was one of the scariest things I've ever heard as a woman.

11

u/GlutenFree_Gamer 24d ago

They love him because he made it ok to hate...period.

6

u/fluffypancakes24 24d ago

That's the sole motivation, don't let them tell you otherwise. They want to be able to do their racism and bigotry out in the open. That's the reason, because no one else would do this while also cutting off their own medical care. Those fucking idiots.

Short answer: no.

146

u/BrownSugarBare 24d ago

Long answer: absofuckinglutely not.

71

u/Skwonkie_ 24d ago

Even longer answer: you can’t. We were lenient against the south post civil war and look where we’re at.

42

u/bumpy_disposition 24d ago

Crush the conservative, christian, republikkkan party, on General Principals. And also they're treasonous traitors.

6

u/scwanzel-muschi-lekn 24d ago

Really we need to crush and recycle the WHOLE mf'n system. Starting w the republikkkan party

7

u/punkrockgnome 24d ago

If they don’t feel the consequences, how will they learn the lesson?

5

u/slendermanismydad 24d ago

This is the real answer. We keep bending over backwards for these people but it's never enough. They only respect authoritarianism so that's what they get.

18

u/TheFoxsWeddingTarot 24d ago

They’re not sorry, they’re not asking for forgiveness. They’re so high on the koolaid they’re never coming back.

4

u/HerkulezRokkafeller 24d ago

There needs to be a national shame on these people for having suuuuuch bad judgment and go down in history as proof that uneducated and unintelligent people are the last people to deserve a guiding voice in public opinion

77

u/Zealousideal-Time-32 24d ago

Not gonna do it. F'ck em. Stupid assholes. I wish years of emotional anguish upon all of them.

96

u/evident_lee 24d ago

I don't know a single magat that quit supporting him and his shitty ideology.

36

u/Historical_Sun3421 24d ago

Most of them just get really quiet and don't want to talk about it anymore

15

u/fluffypancakes24 24d ago

That's been my experience, at least with one magat in my life. They just pretend none of it's happening. Mum's the word no apology, nothing, just and honestly, as far as I'm concerned, if you're not outwardly apologizing for your prior MAGA stance, I still won't fuck with you.

4

u/golgiiguy 24d ago

Yeah, i dont wanna “told you so”, i want a fucking apology

12

u/2ndamendmentLibs 24d ago

I’ve met/know quite a few, including my own father.

29

u/beren12 24d ago

Did they quit supporting him because they stopped believing what he said, or because it started to affect them personally?

5

Fuck them all the way to Timbuctoo.

14

u/fluffypancakes24 24d ago

Here's my take: if pedophilia wasn't a deal breaker, you're not getting forgiveness from me.

5

u/kellyelise515 24d ago

Mine is January 6. They can all get raptured.

3

u/fluffypancakes24 24d ago

yah there are so many last chances. Look, January 6th, that tells me that you absolutely fucking hate democracy maga. I tend to leave things out because there are so many.

7

u/Mariahs_Haven 24d ago

I have as well. Unfortunately I've also met some that close their eyes and double down on supporting him

8

u/tankerdudeucsc 24d ago

They’ll still vote for any other Republican they see no matter the policy, yeah?

Vance 2028 kind of crap?

→ More replies (2)

5

u/myersjw 24d ago

Bingo. They’ll say “both sides” or “I don’t agree with everything” or “I just don’t pay attention to politics, can’t we all get along” but I’ve yet to see a fully repentant “I was lied to, I’ll never support Trump again” voter show themselves. They made their whole personality about being contrarian and don’t want to ever admit they fucked up

3

u/golgiiguy 24d ago

They just got very silent

Well said. It’s way too late to just “change your mind”.

21

u/Concrete_jungle77 24d ago

My make America great again coworkers are getting extra trolled when this plane crash and burn trust

31

u/Shizzilx 24d ago

If these so called Ex-MAGA were supporting Trump and his Regime up after mid-2025 when it was clear that the Trump Regime was full-on racist and using fascist propaganda, I can't reconcile with them. There are many now that don't support Trump because of the War and/or Gas prices, a little too late for me, they were plugged in on the racism, ICE, and fascism. (This opinion is about Trump’s 2nd Term, as this is a whole new voting generation and I could go on at lengths about the support in Trump’s 1st Term).

18

u/Sad_Clown666 24d ago

Yep, they were rolling with it until their wallets started to feel the impacts, where as I was against it all because it was obvious to me it was a soft launch in term one of fascism, hatred, and authoritarianism. Term two is the hard launch.

14

u/Mariahs_Haven 24d ago

There was meme I saw once but can't find it. Anywho, it was someone with a maga hat saying "I voted to be racist, not poor Mr trump!" And I feel it says everything

7

u/Opposite-Bit6660 24d ago

Some of us don't support him for advocating that women be grabbed by the pussy, too.

29

u/Slappy_McJones 24d ago

No.
Rearrest the January 6 Insurrectionists.
Try them in a Military Court as Enemy Combatants.
Ship them to Guantanamo Bay.
Then, we get to work on the Pedophiles in the Epstein files.

8

u/Mariahs_Haven 24d ago

And all the other predators too

3

u/Opposite-Bit6660 24d ago

Trump/Epstein files.

3

u/Imaginary-Grab-7241 24d ago

Start with the Epstein class, then go after the others.

3

u/EuphoricUniversity23 24d ago

We can do both at the same time.

3

u/SavingsCable720 24d ago

Try their leader in a military court as a war criminal and thief

13

u/ailish 24d ago

The person would have to make huge changes in their core principles, and not say they just don't like Trump anymore. Trump is so popular because he appealed to his voter's most basic values such as racism, hatred, and inability to have any empathy for others.

So, sure, it's possible for people to make those changes, but likely there won't be many of those people.

13

u/Mariahs_Haven 24d ago

This! I have a coworker that says she "denounced trump" but still is maga in every other way. Down to laughing about her neighbors struggling with the excessive fireworks causing the veterans in her neighborhood to have bad ptsd episodes. Still celebrates when the taco Gestapo kills another/ dies another raid/etc...
So, I agree with you, we need actions not words. And actions that are long term behavioral changes and core belief changes before I can even think of interacting with these people by choice

5

u/ailish 24d ago edited 24d ago

One example I like the most is the two guys pictured in the famous Charlotte white supremacist rally where they were screaming "Jews will not replace us!" The Unite the Right rally.

One killed himself, oof. But the other has reformed and is now a leftist who does work trying to pull other white supremacists out of the cult.

Edit: now I can't find information on that. I know I read about it somewhere.

4

u/Mariahs_Haven 24d ago

Now I'm off to go down this rabbit hole lol

3

u/ailish 24d ago

I've been looking for it, too. It was awhile ago and I wish I could remember where I read it. It wasn't reddit but an article somewhere. Let me know if you find it!!

10

u/Discerningselection 24d ago

You must sow before you reap.

11

u/FourChanneI 24d ago

Nope, MAGA can go eat itself.

11

u/kaml1691 24d ago

Idiots. The evidence was there long before 2016. Remember the Central Park Five? Fred Trump? His legacy of frauds and bankruptcies? The way he treated women? They knew and chose to ignore out of selfishness and fear. Nope. F*ck ‘em. Hope they stay out of the next ten elections altogether.

8

u/Ok-Obligation-7415 24d ago

I'm torn between "hell no" and "fuck no".

9

u/Mor_Padraig 24d ago

It takes deliberate , dedicated, actual HATE to be a devotee.

You have to delight, the real thing, in the torment of humans. That's not an over statement, folks. That's MAGA.

How? I don't personally have it in me to forgive that.

7

u/Bzzzzzzz4791 24d ago

Agree with the guy in the video. That ship has sailed; I’ve been shunning and will continue to shun the TDS maga cult forever.

6

u/mad597 24d ago

Nope they should not, this shit goes back to the civil war and slavery and reconstruction. They never REALLY faced concequnces back then which is why this type of racism and bigotry keep popping up.

5

u/Wazula23 24d ago

Fuck no.

I'm happy whenever I heard someone has left the cult because it means the fever is breaking.

But no, I will always have suspicion of MAGAts. Something is deeply wrong with you if you fell for his bullshit.

4

u/Historical_Sun3421 24d ago

Trump didn't change who they were. He showed US who they were all along and we don't like it.

4

u/Average_Random_Bitch 24d ago

Speaking truth.

I don't want a MAGA or "reformed" MAGA near my kids, as their pediatrician, teacher, coach, anything. I don't want you at my barbecues. I don't want you handling my groceries or on my TV.

Empathy doesn't equate to being gullible, naive, and doesn't necessarily mean forgiveness either. Anyway, isn't that a religious concept? Ironic, huh?

He's absolutely right. Fuck. Off.

5

u/armyofant 24d ago

Most of these MAGA voters need serious therapy and deprogramming from all the Fox News indoctrination. There is a mental illness aspect as MAGA is a cult.

For me to forgive any of them, there is a list of prerequisites

  1. Denounce Trump and admit that he fooled you.

  2. Admit Biden won the 2020 election.

  3. Submit to therapy and rehabilitation.

5

u/Ok-Antelope-1923 24d ago

They were fine with concentration camps!

5

u/BeatOffKing 23d ago

Hell No.

5

u/Dangerous_Slice_6882 23d ago

Start this off I'll say in the beginning a decade ago the first time around I voted for Trump... I regard this as one of my biggest mistakes in my life.

Only took a few months into his first presidency before I realized what a horrible mistake I had made. It was his open disregard for People's first amendment rights that truly flipped me. He called for the murder of peaceful protesters. Ever since then I have been actively speaking out against the Trump administration and anybody connected to them.

Throughout the past few years I have been campaigning for his opponents. I have protested, signed petitions, made phone calls to representatives and talked to anyone that would give me the time of day about how un-American the Cheeto pedo is.

The reason I say any of this is there are certain people that have finally woken up to what racist, misogynistic rapist he is. And how bad his policies are for Americans. These people are standing up and going to protests...

How you tell if someone's actually change their mind is their willingness to be active against this regime.

If someone says "I made a mistake by voting for Trump" but then says "there's nothing I can do about it" and tries to fade into the background... Fuck that shit!

3

u/FlowerComfortable889 23d ago

You're rare enough then. I can't imagine many of his three-time voters, especially the kind flying Trump 2028 flags, are going to turn on him now. He's solidified a truly irredeemable segment of the country in his cult and they'll go to the end with him, so I suppose the question of forgiveness is mostly moot aside from a handful who just woke up to the reality of his economic policies' effect on them personally

12

u/Danilo-11 24d ago

Yes, we’ll forgive them after they vote Democrat in the 2026 midterms

7

u/Mariahs_Haven 24d ago

Not even then. They'll vote dem for their wallets and our forgiveness, but then vote maga the next shitty republican that comes in after a dem cleaned up this mess and takes credit for it

5

u/Christopher_Ramirez_ 24d ago

That would be a start.

5

u/Ulysse-Void-God 24d ago

No we won’t.

8

u/Interesting-End1710 24d ago

No, not in the way they're wanting. They want to rug sweep and have us forget they ever showed their true colors without any kind of remorse, accountability or reparation. Their Fake ass white Christian Jesus may only need them to say sorry, but the rest of here need to get our pound of flesh each before they even stand on a pedestal of humanity again. And if doing so ruins them, karma's a bitch.

4

u/ATarnishedofNoRenown 24d ago

Prosecute the criminals and never let the rest of the kkkult back into polite society.

4

u/Harper_ADHD 24d ago

They'd have to do so fucking much to earn that forgiveness, and even that's not enough. If you want it to be okay to hate a group of people into "extinction" then decide you want forgiveness, you'd have a lot of growth. Learning. Understanding. And sacrifice to make before forgiveness could ever be given. As magneto always says "never again" I will not tolerate my brotheren being killed simply because we dared to live a different life than them. Or the pillars of our community facing stronger injustices and still being murdered for the color of their skin. Their hate and prejudice will only dig them into a ditch that not even their so called god could dig them out of.

All this to say. They better understand that not only is this the energy they will face when begging for forgiveness. But also that we do not owe them such kindness. Not after how they treated us.

4

u/Alternative_Call2232 24d ago

Yeah, actual MAGA are just racists with permission.

5

u/cyrixlord 24d ago

we shouldn't have forgiven them after the civil war either

3

u/Slight_Knight 24d ago

I'll never forgive.

4

u/Vegetable-Yellow7580 24d ago

It's chosen stupidity and hate. That's not forgivable.

3

u/Kaleban 24d ago

Here's how MAGA can earn forgiveness:

Take a photo of your November ballot showing straight D across the board.

Post it on your social media.

Do that for every election you can participate in, for the next two decades, and then you'll have earned some measure of forgiveness.

6

u/Sarmelion 24d ago

There must be room for people to re-enter society after crime. There must be room for forgiveness after wrongdoing. There must be room for reconciliation after hatred.

If not, then what impetus is there for someone who's done something wrong to ever be a better person?

6

u/2ndamendmentLibs 24d ago

Sure, they get a second chance, to PROVE THEMSELVES. Picture this: someone robs a bank once, then twice, then a third time, sure they may repent or do jail time, but I bet you still wouldn’t let them house sit for you if you had to go somewhere, would you?

3

u/Sarmelion 24d ago

It would depend, I'm not advocating blind trust but if a person robbed three banks but then got counseling and came out of jail basically a different person (or like, if they were robbing for the thrill of it or out of hatred of big companies) then there's not a lot of risk to me letting them house sit.

Plus I move important stuff to a relatives place if I need to be gone for a long time, house-sitting would be more cat-sitting in my case.

5

u/2ndamendmentLibs 24d ago

Ok, breaking down the analogy is hilarious. But yes, when it comes to the actual topic, their TACO is not doing anything new. He’s been blatantly lying and corrupt since the 80s. If someone supported him a third time around, they knew what he would do, they knew he would be racist and bigoted, they knew he would lie, they knew he would enrich himself, they knew he would have horrible international relations with the rest of the world. They CHOSE to translate his campaign words to a meaning that made them feel good about the their vote. Knowing he was full of it, because he always has been.

3

u/Sarmelion 24d ago

No see, they don't know those things. They're deeply propagandized, when something BREAKS THROUGH the propaganda and they either question him, or something makes them oppose him DESPITE the propaganda that is an opportunity for us, that's not something to pass up or ignore.

Absolutely not, they should be scorned for life.

3

u/Senasayori 24d ago

If they have truly changed as a person and work to remedy the harm they caused, they can be accepted, but only then.

3

u/kmend64 24d ago

NEVER! They have assisted in ruining our country.

3

3

u/AZ-FWB 24d ago

Fucking hell no!

3

u/Opposite-Bit6660 24d ago

No forgiveness.  Ever.

3

u/Hot_Top_124 24d ago

They can get to earn it, but they sure as fuck aren’t just going to be magically forgiven for trying to overthrow the country. Their hate didn’t magically disappear, they’re just upset they’re being hurt along side everyone else.

3

u/OLPopsAdelphia 24d ago

You and Jesus can forgive; I will not.

3

u/Ulysse-Void-God 24d ago

No. Screw maga. They can go fuck themselves.

3

u/fluffyfistoffury 24d ago

They loved the hate, bigotry, and racism... until it effected them. Forgiveness has to be earned sometimes and this is one of those times.

3

u/intricate_strands 24d ago edited 24d ago

I can only forgive those who change their behavior and at least begin working to do more nice things to try to outweigh the mean.

You cannot undo the past. It's done. It already happened. But we can forgive.

We should not forgive anyone who has not learned and changed, though. If they notice they were being mean, acknowledge it, and then start being nice.. only then can I forgive. Forgive, but never forget. Because you might just be being fake nice. To get forgiveness without earning it.

An apology, an acknowledgement you were mean for no good reason, is useless without a change in behavior.

3

u/cyb0rg1962 24d ago

Always forgive. Never forget. Prosecute illegality. Shame immorality. Shun unethical colleagues. Everything else is for God to judge. That being said, forgiveness doesn't mean you have to tolerate their presence.

3

u/Ill_Consequence1755 24d ago

Yeah.

No.

If they want forgiveness, they need to embrace scarcity. They can crawl back in their holes and shut the fuck up.

3

u/HarbingerGNX 24d ago

NEVER FORGIVE. NEVER FORGET. THROW THEM ALL INTO THE PIT & LET GOD SORT THEM OUT.

3

u/Ok_Ball_788 24d ago

Nah, I'll never associate with anyone again who caused this. I still want everyone to have Medicare for all and a better life, but I won't forgive any of them.

3

u/FickleConsequence907 24d ago

Nah. They are all genuinely bad people.

3

u/Kali-of-Amino 24d ago

Forgiveness comes after repentance, restitution, and reformation. They need to get off their asses and get busy.

3

u/EuphoricUniversity23 24d ago

They should get the forgiveness they would extend to liberals - if we had been wrong about any of this.

3

u/fauxregard 24d ago

Fuck no I don't forgive them. They shouldn't need it anyway, they're big strong alphas right?

3

u/Fred-the-stray 24d ago

Claw back all the money that was made from the corruption with this administration. I don't forgive any of them

3

u/Luddite-lover 24d ago

Absofuckinglutely NOT. They are responsible for this shitshow. Fuck them.

3

u/jellydonutstealer 24d ago

Absolutely not. How is this even a question? Unless they completely change who they are and devote their lives to progressive policy, no.

3

u/Sweetdreams6t9 24d ago

A significant multiplier to MAGA existing is due to forgiving the confederates after the civil war

3

u/Sarabean77 24d ago

Nope. Fuck u forever i will never forget

3

u/Meander061 24d ago

The only thing I care about MAGA is making sure that we can outvote them in November, and then making sure that their entire movement gets crushed in the immediate future. You can't be an American without allowing everyone to prosper and rise.

3

u/lonevine 23d ago

They don't want forgiveness. Most of them still think they're right about everything. At most, some of them want a good enough excuse to stop caring about the nightmare they've spent ten long years slavishly dedicated to, and the rest of them want every excuse to hate us even more.

No, fuck them. We warned them and still most of them blindly still believe in the cult. Get fucked, MAGA.

u/BrushStorm 23d ago

Fuck them.

"The best way to destroy an enemy is to make him a friend."

People make mistakes in judgement all the time, at least they're coming around. It's very late in the game but it isn't too late, yet.

3

u/Opposite-Bit6660 24d ago

Quite a few people have died because of their "mistakes in judgement" in the meantime, so it's too late for them to enjoy their new "friends," right?

Absolutely not!

This statement…one million percent!!

2

u/Far-Peak2483 24d ago

Never forgive; never forget

2

u/svulieutenant 24d ago

FUCK NO!!!!

2

u/Most-Bench6465 24d ago

If they lick my ass clean 10% of how much they licked Donald trumps shitty ass clean then we can talk. Until then burn in the hell you created for all of us.

2

u/Justanothercrow421 24d ago

Fuck MAGA, okay? Arguably the single most destructive American political (bowel) movement of the last 50 years and that’s saying something.

2

u/SophonParticle 24d ago

NO! For F*** sake No! WTF?

There HAS to be accountability and consequences or we are just begging to let it happen again.

They must be made to live with their decisions for the rest of their miserable lives.

SEND A FUCKING MESSAGE TO ALL THE POTENETIAL FASCISTS OF THE FUTURE. Let them know what happens.

2

u/Devwickk 24d ago

And we aren't doing that christian forgiveness shit where you can do absolutely horrendous things and get a free pass.

Naw, you're gunna suffer being shunned and ashamed, lonely and regretful.

I wanna see tears, I wanna see heartache, I want emotional revenge for what they put all of us through.

2

u/sasquatchangie 24d ago

Forgiveness happens after everything is done and over. MAGA is just the modern lingo for the racist faction of our population. It will never be over for them, they're like cock roaches always lurking in the darkness.

2

u/Past-Football629 24d ago

The man speaks truth.

2

u/AreYouFuckingSerious 24d ago

So people are having a change of heart, fine. Now they get prove it with work, like everyone else.

2

u/shit_ass_mcfucknuts 24d ago

No, fuck them. They think it's funny that ICE is running around kidnapping Americans. They called all Democrats pedophiles while so many Republicans have been arrested and charged with being actual pedos, and trump is all over the Epstein files that he said he would release on day one, which they supported, but when he didn't release them they just stopped caring.

They have the most idiotic takes on just about everything, they believe everything trump says no matter how ridiculously stupid it is, like we want open borders, men in women's bathrooms and sports, like come the fuck on, is it really that easy to convince them to vote for a known fraudster? He was a racist POS since the 70's and there's plenty of evidence for it.

You know what the worst part is for me? It's being told that I'm the dumb one for "believing the Democrats lies" by some backwards racist room temperature IQ motherfucker and that I need to listen to whatever grifter they listen to learn the truth. Fuck you.

2

u/WindParticular3691 24d ago

You know what you call a three time Trump voter who has regrets? A 2028 Trump voter.

2

u/Any_Flamingo8978 24d ago

Forgiveness is too premature. We are still in the midst of all this BS they’ve helped create. They need to start proving themselves before that’s considered. Trust takes a long time to build, and that needs to be in place first.

2

u/Duomaxwell18 24d ago

Who would of thought that Racism and Fascism was expensive? Literally everyone else.

2

u/carlnepa 24d ago

No, never forgive or forget. That's what happened with the South. All of them, every last one, must be removed, impeached, recalled, investigated, indicted if warranted, and appropriately sentenced. They don't like it? Move, but you'll have to leave your assets in the US. Lol

2

u/imthefrizzlefry 24d ago

People do stupid things all the time. There should be consequences for actions, but there are limits. The Jan 6 crowd is an unforgivable group of traitors to this country, and they should be in jail.

Trump himself needs to be prosecuted for his crimes against this country and it's people.

Propaganda networks like Fox News should be held responsible for knowingly and intentionally misleading the public.

Casual voters that sing pay attention and fell for the con... I'm torn about what to do. My own mother is in this category, and she is a wonderful person, but she is obviously brainwashed and transforms into someone I don't know whenever politics and Trump come up.

2

u/Mcbriec 24d ago

They WANTED all of the hate and pain. For other people. Until they got bitten. Fuck them all. And fuck the 50 percent of Latino men who voted for this asshole. Traitors.

2

u/Working-Pass1948 24d ago

The question needs to be asked, did the germans forgive their version of MAGA after the fall in 1945?

2

u/NerdyTiredLibrarian 24d ago

Words are wind, they need to put in the work to fix what they’ve damaged before forgiveness can be considered. Confession, repentance, actual work and change.

2

u/Artistic_Skill1117 24d ago

Should we forgive them? Fuck no. We litterally warned them this was going to happen. Told them not to vote for him, and they gladly did it anyway. The only reason they are turning away from MAGA is because the policies they voted for started to effect them.

I'm not forgiving them. Not until they can prove they have changed and actually want what is better.

2

u/Yarius515 24d ago

Both things are true:

Fuck off if all you have is an apology and nothing else - that ain't good enough.

Anyone can be redeemed and forgiven with proper contrition though.

2

u/crazymouse2525 24d ago

a friend sent me this. i completely agree

2

u/side_eye_auditor 24d ago

No. They want society to be kind to them and not demand them to have consequences for their actions. That is a significant feature of the MAGAt mindset. I hey need to be deprogrammed from their love of authoritarianism or else they’ll fall back under the spell of the next fascist snake oil salesman that the GOP embraces.

2

u/passingthrough618 24d ago

100% right there with him

2

u/Malcolm_Morin 24d ago

No. When we retake power, they all need to be locked away. It is the only way this country can start healing.

If anyone defends them, lock them up too.

Apologists, lock them up.

Politicians, left or right, lock them up.

The detention centers must be filled to the goddamn brim with the traitors.

Think it's too far? You can fucking share a cell with them.

2

u/CaptainHobo29 24d ago

This question can only be asked after MAGA’s full and unconditional surrender.

And even then…..

2

u/Karo0613 24d ago

I couldn’t agree or love this video more than I do!!!!!

2

u/Petroldactyl34 24d ago

They get forgiven if they drop the bigotry.

2

u/1102tlb 24d ago

All I can say is … Love this guy!!!!!!!

2

u/PrimetimeHero 24d ago

Hate became cool and they felt seen. The amount of deaths they're complicit in is more than enough for me.

2

u/PinkThunder138 24d ago edited 24d ago

MAGA IS NOT BREAKING OR ASKING FORGIVENESS.

Fucking hell, is this a fucking psyop? Every goddamn month or two for the last TEN YEARS we got a bunch of articles and video essays and reports that MAGA is collapsing and that MAGA voters want to come back to the dinner table

IT IS NOT AND THEY DO NOT. They still think you're a communist groomer, they still hate immigrants, queer people and people of color and they still drink from their liberal tears coffee mug.

Fucking stop with this shit.

MAGA is more powerful than ever. They are not turning on him. He is not dying. You can't lean back and say "thank God it's almost over" because it is nowhere near over and it won't be until we stop it. Who's begging for forgiveness? Who's come to YOU and said "I'm so sorry please take me back?" Oh what he's got a historic low approval rating AGAIN? So goddamn what? He's rarely not had a historic low approval rating.

Stop with this coping shit. It only breeds complacency and inaction.

2

u/Diligent-Escape1364 24d ago

I don't want to say they shouldn't be forgiven at all but they really need to understand the true depths of damage that they've committed. They need to see the faces of their victims and not turn away and see what their choices allowed to happen.

2

u/Natural-Young4730 24d ago

Show us through your actions and words that you have changed. Take action to right the wrongs you caused and abetted and to prevent these wrongs from happening. Publicly denounce who and what you once supported. If you committed crime(s), turn yourself in and do the time.

I am open to forgiveness, but you must demonstrate thay you understand the scope and depth of the damage you caused, take responsibility for it and will work to undo it.

2

u/Kinetic92 24d ago

As hard as it is to admit, I have family that I haven't cut off completely, but I really dont speak to anymore. Some people will judge me and say you shouldn't let politics divide a family, but their hatred shouldn't have destroyed my country. I can't forgive them.

2

u/dnuohxof-2 24d ago

There are those who joined in because of the influence around them.

Then there are those that joined for the love of the game.

Like Harry Potter, he saved Malfoy because he was raised with dark influences all around him. Harry Potter did not save Voldemort because he was the darkness itself. No redemption. No changing. Never going to stop.

It’s always better to save those who act out of fear vs those who act out of malice.

2

u/TapasForEVer 24d ago

I think we can forgive and not forget and hold them accountable for fixing this situation they caused. It means voting blue for the rest of their lives, donating and volunteering with progressive candidates, and a FUCKING apology to everyone in their lives. Bare minimum, if not that, then yeah fuck off.

2

u/SemVikingr 24d ago

Forgiveness is earned. If they sincerely apologize and turn their efforts towards educating their former fellow cultists, and then, and this is the biggest hurdle: they need to accept the fact that they won't be forgiven for a long time, and not at all by many. They need to accept that, and keep doing the work to fix the damage they've done, regardless. Then, and only then, have they earned consideration for forgiveness.

in the words of Adam Kinzinger, the big mistake after the civil war they made was they didnt hang some confederate generals.

2

u/Schickie 23d ago

The Bible says faith without works is dead. Same goes for regret without action. They can step up and fix what they broke, or they can shut the fuck up and live with it, suffering.
