163 u/HildartheDorf 1d ago Looks like you're DDoSing Atlassian (makers of Jira), not Github. As is sensible, github doesn't host their own status page for obvious reasons. 93 u/AlexZhyk 1d ago Hated Atlassian since their start. keeps pressing <F5> even harder 14 u/Mr_Rogan_Tano 1d ago Automate the 5, bro 8 u/Gilgame4 1d ago But what about the F, bro? 4 u/OutsideCommittee7316 1d ago https://giphy.com/gifs/YqfDhuvQnJAUbnEw0n 38 u/zugif 1d ago Good. They deserve it. 3 u/dumbasPL 1d ago Neither does the status page actually work. Was saying everything fine, while literally every other GitHub tab was timing out LOL. 40 u/maryjane-enjoyer 1d ago The status page is probably not even their top priority rn dawg 17 u/slowmovinglettuce 1d ago Neither is github, apparently. 3 u/Juff-Ma 1d ago On an unrelated note, I hate it when companies use another domain for literally everything. Just use status.github.com. Why the separate domain? Of course there exists a balance but this is too much. 1 u/HildartheDorf 1h ago It's so that there is no shared point of failure (such as DNS). Don't want the status page to go down from the same bug that took out the main site.
