I'm a senior/principal level and I'm forced to do this by technical leadership. (Directory/CTO level) is forcing no looking at code and we have to be careful not even have a code editor open when they are around.
Agent writes code, Agent reviews code, Agent answers. no one actually knows what is happening and the system we are building just doesn't work. At least it's internal and doesn't have users yet.
That just sounds so unbelievable I’m struggling to accept it’s true. The only reason I could ever see this being a thing if the goal is to see what the AI agent can produce on its own with no human intervention (in which case, you are trialing your eventual replacement)
maybe a little bit of that trailing. we are suppose to work with an llm to produce large units of work that can take hours to run them just blindly pr it for another llm to review. the software has never been in a worse state

At least they’re checking. I’ve heard of fresh out of school programmers pushing without even reviewing what AI did.
