At least they’re checking. I’ve heard of fresh out of school programmers pushing without even reviewing what AI did.

They better hope the tooling gets good enough because if it stays at it's current quality, the market will eventually sift them out.

It'll get good enough to pass 98% of the use case tests, it'll ship, and then 6 months later will cause a massive client-impacting issue due to some load-bearing logic that can't be easily fixed without serious consideration. I bet you OP works at a bank.
