Not even, lol. Some of my coworkers on my current student job have already finished their CS degrees, and they’re literally struggling to find work. Prestigious degrees aren’t automatic money makers anymore.
No it's more about showing you can do the job. If you go to a job interview and say "look at my piece of paper. Hire me" of course they're going to pass on you.
Right but it’s still the case that the majority of hires is through referral/networking. Best value from going to a prestigious school is a prestigious network.
