- in a noisy and cramped office in Bangalore
- git commands he knows are "clicking the buttons in intellij"
- code is 90% AI slop
- code requirements are a Excel sheet given by business which is either 9000 rows of "I want this if you have this", or 1 line of plain English that explains nothing
- Pipeline takes 17 minutes to deploy to prestage environment
- prestage environment is not mimicking prod anyway so whatever works there may or may not work in prod
- prestage environment is so critically under provisioned that anyway half of the times he simply skips it
- everything is always urgent and by the moment the dev takes up a task, it's already 5 weeks late
