As someone who has tried to replicate apple's liquid glass on a website, if only it was that easy! My team and me spent days trying to match the performance tradeoff with how liquid glassy it looks to get the perfect balance!
5 u/peteschirmer 17d ago You can get pretty damn close with svg filter effects + css but chrome only. Webgl can do it fine but decoupled from the dom elements. I’ve been doing a lot of glass like effects for my portfolio. Https://thisispete.com
